This festive cantina is a lively backdrop for south-of-the-border favorites plated up in the kitchen. Enjoy a frosty margarita and chips with a trio of salsa, guacamole and beans while browsing the menu – there are dozens of selections to choose from. Tacos, tamales, enchiladas, chimichangas, sizzling fajitas, chile relleno, flautas, and carne asadas are among Baja's bestsellers. For the bravehearted, Baja's colorful tequila bar just outside offers a wide selection of fiery, mouthwatering spirits on display.
"Service was excellent. The servers were attentive to our desires. Food was served hot except for the menudo which was lukewarm. Other than that a very pleasant experience."

"My favorite place for great Mexican food. The service is excellent the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The ceviche is excellent so fresh and full of flavor. The The enchiladas del pacifico are to die for the shrimp and scallops are always so fresh. I do prefer their tequila cream sauce( best sauce ever) on the enchiladas and and they are always happy to substitute the sauce. The tequila shrimp is also one of my favorites. Family members loved the chimichangas and the taco salad. Great value and you get so much food come hungry. Overall wonderful dining experience."

"We have been here twice now and both times have really enjoyed ourselves. We love that they give guacamole, salsa, and refried beans with the chips to start out. That is a big selling point for me because I could sit and eat that stuff all night. We have tried the flautas, enchiladas, carne asada tampiquena, and a burrito and all were really good. The carne asada is definitely my favorite. Tender, full of flavor and delicious!"

"Baja Miguels has a great special for Cinco de Mayo. It took awhile for server to come take food order, but after that everything was fine. Food was great!"

"We each ordered the special menu for Cinco de Mayo weekend, which came with a marguerita, soup, entree, and dessert for $15.95. Our food was very good, and we received very good service. This is an excellent restaurant with very good prices."

"We arrived at our reservation time and were seated promptly; service was a bit slow to start (I think they had been "slammed" unexpectedly and were a bit understaffed). After the waitress got to our table, service was prompt and ttentive. Food is quite good; very large portions and everything seems to come with rice and beans (refried or whole beans.) I particularly enjoy the salsa/bean/guacamole combo served with light tortilla chips before dinner. The restaurant caters to families and the Thursday night we were there it was a bit noisy. Request a booth if you want a quieter experience."

"I have to say I was very disappointed with our food. We started with the chips and they bring you a trio of salsa (bottled), guacamole tasted canned and some refried beans (were very good). There were three of us we ordered three different plates I had steak and shrimp, I ordered my steak medium one piece was well done & the other was medium rare still bloody, my husband ordered a trio plate the chili relleano was mostly egg and everything else was bland. I was disappointed in the refried beans the ones they serve with the chips is not what I got with my meal I ended up with beans that were very thick and gloppy, I only ate the cheese off the top. Our waiter however was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Service and food were good, but not noteable. This is a clean restaurant and the food was good. Probably falls in the top ten category of Mexican restaurants in the area."

"Stick to traditional American Mexican favorites like tacos, enchiladas, toquitos. I had the fish tacos which I didn't eat. The first bite was concerning about the freshness of the fish and it just didn't taste good or fresh. They did not charge me for my uneaten meal which was nice."
