"My friend and I had tickets to see Ann Richards on Wednesday night - and chose Luce from NY Menu pages for pre-theatre dinner. We were delighted from start to finish - the staff is pleasant, attentive and efficient; the food delicious; the prices quite fair and we had plenty of time to visit after dinner without rushing to Lincoln Center just a few blocks away. We'll go again, I'm sure!! Try it for wonderful pasta entres and excellent wine pairings!"

"I've found it hard to have a nice relaxed dinner before attending events in Lincoln Center. But Luce fills the bill. It's a short walk, the food and wine choices excellent, the service smooth and unobtrusive, almost European. We're looking forward to going again"

"I treated my friend for her Birthday. We both had the Filet of sole which melted in your mouth and a glass of pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc . We split the Triamusu for dessert which is always excellent. We keep coming back and recommend Luce to all our friends."

"The only thing going for this is location and a nice, friendly staff. Food was beyond mediocre. More salt than my doctor would approve - and still without taste or interest. We had hoped to branch out our dining choices near Lincoln Center. Back to the old haunts! Now we know why there were plenty of sidewalk tables available on a lovely spring evening. Seriously - never again."

"Always dependably good. The service is friendly and the owner welcoming and charming. We all not only enjoyed our dinner, but lingered some to catch up with each other, and were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Our water glasses and coffee cups were happily refilled as we lingered for well over two hours. The tuna streak was excellent!"

"Finding a place to serve 10 people in the Lincoln Center area can be a problem on a Saturday night. My usual places were unavailable so I took a chance on Luce which was convenient--only a few blocks away on Broadway. Our group was pleasantly surprised--the restaurant is small--unusual in this area--and I found that to be a plus as many places in this part of town are jarringly noisy. Our group was attended to promptly, drinks were excellent, we shared salad appetizers--generous in size, fish and pasta mains were all very good. Only caveat: the fish special was $32, much more than the other fish dishes listed on the menu. This practice of course is not unusual, but, if it is important to you, I would recommend asking prices of specials."

"This is now one of our favorite restaurants. We found it a month ago online seeking to find a restaurant close to the Met. We have now taken friends and dined hereagain. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is attentive and quick. The only negative would be the close seating quarters which is typical of NYC dining and noise level. "In town from Iowa and stumbled across this place by pure luck. We went before going to The Met. I don't know if I could have been any happier. Everything was amazing. It was worth the $$ and will come back next time we're in New York."

"We have added this restaurant to our favorites. My only complaint was that it was not very private, with tables very close to one another which is typical however of many NYC restaurants. The food and service were excellent and close by Lincoln Center which was a plus!"

"3rd visit and never a disappointment. The staff are nice, friend and attentive. Restaurant has a very nice intimate setting that is conducive to beginning great conversations and continuing them. Other diners that go there are also friendly and lend to a great experience. The menu has great selections and the food is fresh and tasty. Lucé is always a pleaser and does not disappoint the fine diner. :)"
