"Mussels tasted polluted. Martini was dripping down side of glass and when i took a sip, my shirt got wet. I had the sea bass. It was cooked well but not seasoned well at all..I wish i brought my seasoning with me. I was begging my boyfriend to take me but now i got it out of my system."

They really went above and beyond(thank you Anthony-Server) ... food as always was outstanding... the Short Rib w/ Mushroom risotto is to die for and was enough for 4 adults ! "The food was excellent---we went for Mothers Day brunch but it was highly unorganized. They thought it was a good idea to serve a brunch wrapped around the bar area, but it opened all at once for everyone in the restaurant....so at the same time, people were standing on line for a long period of time and it was difficult to maneuver around eachother. However, the food was EXCELLENT! Our waiter was very conscious of what a bad idea it was to serve the food this way, so he payed extra close attention to our drink orders and making sure we had everything we needed."

"Arrived at 8:15 for 8:30 reservation and checked in. At 9:15, checked on the status and the manager came over and assured that we'd be seated soon, promising to "take care of us." We were finally seated at 9:30. When we didn't know our drink orders immediately, the "drink waiter" said he'd bring water & come back. He didn't. Finally, we ordered everything from our "food waiter."
Sangria was phenomenal and food was VERY good. - but not sure I'd recommend Ciao Baby due to the lack of customer service. The manager who promised he'd "take care of us" was never seen again. Not the type to complain or expect freebies, but something, or at least checking on us, would've been a nice gesture. Overall, happy with food, disappointed in experience."

"Went with a large party and although we had a reservation, we still waited a half hour longer, being in the business and knowing my party was fine starting the night with drinks from the bar, this wasn't a huge deal. After receiving the service and food that we received, no one even thought twice about the wait! The service was spot on, never an empty drink on the table. The suggestions were great! Never tried to sell us more food then we needed! We did family style and every bite of food that we got was awesome! From the appetizers to the desserts I was 100% happy that we chose this place to go for our birthdays! Never felt rushed, treated very well, and was even bought an appetizer for the table! I can't wait to come back!"

"Food and service was excellent. The portions are truly tremendous as the waiter pointed out. The dishes that give you the option of "portion for 1" and "portion for 2" ...the single portion can easily feed 2 with food left over!

"Had a huge group there for my Bridal shower. Food was excellent as expected. I think a little more attention to detail would have made things perfect. For example, we brought our own cake where the top two tiers were fake and instead of saving them, they were destroyed, slices were cut ridiculously thick. Wine was spilled all over the cake table and got all over my mini bride dress, not sure it was totally cleaned up bc I got red wine all on the back of my white dress. But those were the little attention to detail that would've taken the experience from very good to outstanding. The service was good considering it was one waitress and a manager for a group of 30ish. And of course the good was excellent."

"ordered the eggplant parm while it was very tasty it came out cool temp sent it back to heat up came back exactly the same. we were comped a extra dessert but I felt as the dessert we ordered should have been comped instead of offering an additional dessert. despite it all left a sizable tip the service was very good. restaurant was really loud had to scream the entire nite. I remember ciao baby having a live singer enjoyed that more then loud piped in music . you can at least play the old crooners like Sinatra , dean Martin tony Bennett it's an Italian restaurant . all in all still a great place!"

"Gigantic portions at this neighborhood favorite are served in nearly-always packed conditions. Tables are set closely together, and only a few bench seat tables are available. Our family went early on Valentine's Day, and were seated at a corner table next to the crowded kitchen serving area, making for an unsettling dining experience. If you're just a couple and are willing to tolerate some ambience discomfort, you will be rewarded with portions so large you'll have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow."

"i found it extremely LOUD and did not enjoy that at all. I also found they overbooked themselves and even with a reservation we had to wait then while eating they asked 2 tables to move b/c they had a bigger party coming in and wanted to put those tables together. found that very unprofessional and rude. way too cramped but food was good. service was eh. also said it was handicap accessible but there is NO way a wheelchair could be comfortable in there."

"probably not a good idea for a quiet evening. crazy loud made it difficult to converse with others at the table. Food was good....and a lot of it! Even the single serving is enough for two people. But save it for a special occasion, way too cosly for a casual evening away from cooking at home"

"I have been to Ciao Baby's restaurant many times. On this specific visit I was generally unhappy with the entire experience. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my reservation, let the hostess know I was there, and intended to have a few drinks at the bar while waiting. Over the course of the next hour and 15 minutes (yes 45 minutes after my reservation time)I reminded the hostess I was there a few times in which each time they indicated that they were unaware I was there and a table should be ready in 20. This occurred 3 times. Finally seated one of the waiters gave me a appetizer to apologize for the lateness. As I was seated in front of the kitchen I was aware that this app was a bring back from another table that didnt want it...Poor"
