"The food and drink were all delicious. And the service was impeccable...just the right level of staff checking in on us and letting us enjoy. My one complaint was that the live music was great but was a bit too loud. If you're going and expect to be able to talk with your dinner companions, ask to be seated in the front room away from the band."

"I reserved a window table one week prior to arriving, instead I was giving a table near the window while two window tables were completely empty until the end of our meal. When I asked, I was told that they were reserved, funny how I did the same thing, but was not given one of those tables even after asking twice.
We felt rushed, plates were taken away before we were finished and given the " I'm sorry" when we complained. After dinner I stead of offered coffee or another drink we were given the bill.

"Place itself so beautiful with great bar inside!Cant say same about dinner.Entree's are messy what gives a plate cheap look.When you order a fish you would like to taste a fish not just a souse.So lately i have a loooong conversations with my waiter,what do i want on my plate and what not;its always works and i get to enjoy it.I must say, that appetizers were Amazing wouldn't change a thing.
They had a different menu last summer,it was great!Don't know why the did such changes..?But definitely this restaurant need help with better menu idea's.Like i mentioned earlier the place is gorges and fun so you always want to give another shot to something like this.Lots of my friends stopped eating there and comes only for drinks and music."

"I thought the food would have been alot better I have had food like that In cheaper places that taste a lot better, the staff was very confusing they kept getting the order wrong. But the way the restaurant looked was great, indoor and outdoor seating the view of the Hudson was beautiful."

"My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Son Cubano. We are total foodies and have eaten in many upscale restaurants, and Son Cubano is one of the best. The food is outstanding. We had the vegetable empinadas for an appetizer and they were incredible. They were flaky and melted in your mouth. I had the salmon, which was very good. My boyfriend had the Paella and he cleaned his entire plate. We also had two drinks- I had a mango mojito and he had something called Miami Blues. They were $12 each but worth it because there was enough alcohol for 3 drinks in 1. A little too strong for me to try to enjoy at dinner. Definitely make a reservations and request a table with a view of the water!"

"As someone who often eats late, its difficult to find places that dont rush you out at 11pm. Although the music seemed to get louder with every song (we were there from 10-12) that would be the only down side but also completely understandable. The food was great and the service was great and the view was amazing. We were almost scared away by the negative reviews but I would definitely go back. We had a great time and enjoyed everything."

"Yes it's a trendy place with good food and view of the ny skyline, however, from the moment the waiter greeted us we were told "it's a busy night so I'm going to have to take your appetizer and entree order at the same time"(???). It was a Friday night and we sat down for an early dinner @ 5:30 and they were already rushing us? All the wait staff were constantly asking us if we were done with our plates when there was still food on our plates and although we were only a party of 5 people they automatically tacked on a 20% tip to our bill... Will never return, once is enough."

"My first time there great location and ambiance. we were seated quickly (busy night) I had reservations. We waited for our waiter, table next to us sat and their server was qick to get their drinks. Server came took our order(no, Welcome, thanx for coming, etc) I wanted something special so I ordered the Chef special food looked great, but came out cold we waited for the server to have inform, but he never came about not even to check on us. We asked the another server for some drinks. thats when our server came back (did I mention that he couldn't suggest a drink for my lady from your menu) oh well we did not return the meal but wanted to mentione it to a manager he comped dessert. Hurra icecream, we were given the wrong bill."

"We had a nice time but the food was not good at all. My friend ordered the special and the food came out warm on the outside frozen inside. My churrasco was chewey and had no flavor. The second we sat down we were told we had to order the apps and main course at the same time since we could only have out table for 2 hours. It was just too rushed and the food was not worth the money."

"This is a very beautiful restaurant with many great traits. First, the food is expensive appetizers 10-15$ entrees 20 and up. The amount of food is not so much but not so small either, rather its quite proportionate to feel just right at the end of your meal. Drinks are pricey around 14$ for a small margarita. The restaurant is gorgeous and the view is spectacular. Definetly ask for a window seat when making reservations. The service is good, but the manager seems to be a little rough on its employees if he is going to badger them about there work he should do it behind closed doors, not in front of customers. It's also a bit annoying the servers seem to be on top of you looking at you while you eat, but they are very promprefresh drinks."

"Our options were a 6:30 reservation or one after 9 p.m. We chose the 6:30 p.m. When we walked in, there were only a few tables occupied. It slowly but quickly, filled in. With that, the service was a bit rushed. The wait staff/managers were walking around talking on their communicative equipment stating what tables were almost done, who was ready for checks/desserts, etc. I was in the restaurant business myself and understand tables need to be turned over, but we felt rushed. Loved the restaurant but not sure I would return for this reason alone."

"Amazing Place, I would definitely return & try every item that's on the menu. The windows facing the Hudson River with the NYC skyline made it very romantic in this dimly lit space. The staff was very professional & helpful when asked questions from the wine list & menu. Every single table is a great table, the food is absolutely incredible & did I mention the live music?? I'll end my review the same way I began it, Amazing Place!!!"
