"We had a great dinner. The service was excellent, it. Was our first time there and we will be back. We suggest to serve European style portions and adjust the price accordingly , lower... For Friday night the place was nearly empty, maybe with taking our suggestion into account brings more people in!!!!!!!!"

"The service was poor. At the bar, the bartender acted like he was doing us a favor to serve us.
We went for the $55 special. They acted like that was the worst thing we could do. IT was obvious the waiter was upset we ordered that rather then the menu, which was very, very expensive.
The food was OK, but not worth the cost of the meal.
It was a disappointing evening. e would never return"

"Absolutely delicious!! We had the $55 dinner for two. What an unbelievable value, we do not know how they do it for that price. Loved the waiter, beautiful people eating there.It was crowded however we never felt rushed,and were able to have a conversation without having to shout. Lovely ambiance. We are looking forward to visiting again soon."

"We had dinner at Prime in December and had a very nice experience. We returned for Sunday Italian Night and were very disappointed. The wait staff is very slow.There are few, if any, runners, bus boys, etc. leaving the hapless waiters to do everything from fill water glasses to take orders and serve food. While our waiter was courteous he was set up to fail by a manager that did not appear to care that customers were waiting 45 minutes + for their entrees. The food was barely edible and seemed to be a mishmash of leftovers with supermarket pasta source poured on top of over cooked pasta.
Perhaps this steak house should go back to its roots and forgo Italian cuisine."

"We went to a Mother's Day brunch with a 2:30 reservation. We were seated at 2:30 and around 3:15 we were told that we had to go get whatever we wanted on extra plates because the buffet was bring broken down. So we had to rush eating most of the hot food was cold,they advertised waffles at 2:39 they side all gone. At one point after complaining they tried to appease us(4) by saying they were fixing some waffles in the kitchen. They never showed up. We asked why they accepted a 2:30 reservation if they could not service there customers. The server was nice but I learned two lesson. One never go back to Prime and secondly never accept a late reservation for a brunch."

"A disaster from the beginning. It was obvious that our server had absolutely NO idea of what was going on. My partner ordered Braciola, sausage and meatballs with Pasta & I ordered Pasta Romano. When the order was taken, we were asked to give our salad, entrée, and dessert selections at one time. How were we supposed to know what we would feel like having for dessert when we hadn't even had our salad course yet? When the entrees arrived, they were both great but there was no braciola on the plate. When we asked why, we were told that they ran out (which is what we should have done). Why weren't we told this when the order was taken? Although the food was great, the other reasons will prevent us from returning."

"This place is a "Prime" example of restaurant faux pas at its worst. We arrived on time for our reservations and My party and I stood at the front door for well over 20 minutes to be seated. The waiter, Alan, was absolutely awful, he kept pushing for us to order things we didnt want and brought out appetizers/side dishes that we didnt order, which had to be sent back, it was very annoying (he also of course added all of this to the check). I ordered a steak (medium rare) and it came out burnt like a charcoal. Don't waste your time here!!"

Great location and ambiance. One disappointment was when my wife asked for cream cheese for her bagel, the server informed us that the chef wasn't offering cream cheese that day. Interesing."

"This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The service was horrible and the attitude that came with it was terrible. The server did remove the gratuity that was automatic because it was a party of 12 ... we still gave him a tip. We had one guest finally get his first drink when they brought the salads. Apps and meals came out at different times so no one was eating together. Manager there is completely arrogant and did nothing to help our server. Many times staff just looked at us and shrugged. Awful experience."

"Major disappointment. I'm sure Prime was once very good, but not now. We went for the all you can eat stone crab. The caesar salad had no dressing. The pasta side dish was bland. The crab was fine, but not worth the money. Even though there seemed to be lots of people working, no one really wanted to be there. When we finished our first round of crab, our plates were emptied and then brought back to us, they didn't even bother with a new plate. The place was packed, and it seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists, but I'm not sure who goes here as we will not be going back. We will continue to be looking for a good Del Ray food choice for our night out when in town."

"Honestly , Don't waste your money!!
Most Defintly the slowest and worst service in South Florida.

Steak prices compare to high end steak houses but taste like a low end outback.
Meatballs are terrible, by far the worst dinner I had in a long time.
My fiancée and I spent 5 days in South Florida and ate at many differnt places this by far was our worst restaurant .

"My husband surprised me with an early birthday dinner at prime. The surprise element added made this a special evening, and the restaurant lived up to its reputation. We began with delicious Pinot grigot by the glass, had lobster bisque, the evening special, and for meals, my husband had chicken, and I had the small filet, which was done rare, as I had requested. The creamed spinach was decadent. We sat by the open window, and although the evening was chilly, the heater worked well. Our waiter and the people around us were very friendly. There was even a minor celebrity in our corner. I look forward to returning to prime and duplicating my meal down to the house salad."

"I just want to say thank you to all of the staff at Prime in Delray. I booked the reservation via open table and i made several special requests online. They met every request in a discreet and professional manner. Not only was I impressed, but my entire party was surprised and thrilled. The food was excellent. The service was attentive and friendly. There is a wide variety on the menu, aside from their excellent steaks."

"Comimg from New York we know good food when we have it - and bad food too! When we arrived the place was not full yet we were seated next to the service station. We asked to be moved and after we were no one showed up for a while to ask for drinks or anything else. The service was terrible; salads arrived with a scant amount of dressing and no bread was offered at any time. The steak arrived cooked as requested but it had no taste and was tough; escarole was unedible. Would never go back nor recommend it."

"Would never go there again.The service was horrable the food was fair,but way over priced.I would have had a better meal at the Sizzler.Would not recommend to anyone."
