Together, Sasha and Mauricio strive to create a warm environment where great food and wine unite to create a memorable experience.
"Really a good restaurant. We made a special trip from Manhattan and were not disappointed. It's not fancy inside, but the service was really professional, the wine list extensive (though Italo-centric) and the menu small but quite good. THis is a keeper, and we would go again."

"One of the best meals in recent history. Asparagus soup with mussles was amazing. Gnocchi with cauliflower and pancetta was seriously the best gnocchi I've ever had. Rounded off with one of Mauricio's delicious cocktails. Highly recommended!"

"Decided to try for dinner one Sunday and was very happy I did. Food was great. Not a huge menu, but all of the food that came to our table was very good. Small place but they manage to arrange tables so that you do not feel cramped. Not a long walk from the L line. Staff could not be nicer and helpful - no attitude. Enjoy! We did."

"Had the wild mushroom ravioli. They were delicious. I couldn't get enough, and, in fact, the meal was not as large as I expected. Portions were European size. I would have ordered an appetizer if I had known. I had a ricotta cheesecake for dessert, which wasn't that exciting."

"I had an amazing time at Miranda Restaurant. Brunch was amazing. My boyfriend, who wa celebrating his birthday, was so impressed. He said the food was authentic and brought him back to his Hispanic heritage. The food was exquiste, ambiance was superb and the service was very friendly. It was a beautiful experience and I can't wait to dine there again. I strongly recommend Miranda!"

"We went to Miranda for brunch and arrived at about 11:45 on a Saturday- the place was basically empty with just one other table of four people. I don't know if the server was new but she seemed very nervous. The food and drinks came out very slowly. However, the food was excellent- really very tasty. I'd say the food is worth a try but the atmosphere and service need work."

"Went to this restaurant for lunch after reading Williamsburg reviews. We were not disappointed! Fixed price three course lunch menu was great. Not only gourmet in every respect but affordable and included a glass of house wine. Met Morrisimo, one of the owners and you could tell how passionate he and his wife (the chef) are about their food and their customers. Try this one out!"

"We've been going for quite some time, and the food and the service is consistent and fantastic, which isn't always the case in many of the establishments in the neighborhood. There is not one bad thing on the menu. I love that it's never too loud, never too crowded and not packed in with tables."

"I would like to give this place a second chance, because the first one was painful. On arrival, the place was quiet but energetic with prompt service. The room is fairly small, a nice upfit of an old building. Then it went downhill. A few feet from us, the tables were arranged in a square for a raucous birthday party which ensued shortly after our arrival. The group was seated so that the only choice for conversation among the guests was to shout to each other from 12 feet away. It was so loud in the room that OSHA would have closed it down. Our table of four could not carry on a conversation, much less enjoy what was pretty good food. It's hard to understand the lack of consideration for other diners. No party room? Don't book a party"

"I've been to Miranda one time before for brunch and it was OK. This time went back with my boyfriend because of a Scoutmob. I had been avoiding the place because of some poor reviews on Yelp in the last year, but we finally just went for it again. I was really pleasantly surprised! Got the arancini which I wouldn't recommend because the portion is tiny, though delicious, but not worth the $. The pappardelle was awesome, as was the mushroom soup which was a special. Also had the kale with garlic which was delicious. The only thing that was annoying was that we had to ask for bread which is supposed to come with the meal after watching every surrounding table get it as part of routine. it's a cute place, not cheap but not crazy pricey."

"Couldn't have been more pleased with this unexpected discovery! Excellent food and service with precise attention to detail and not too stiff! Handmade pasta, Italian with Spanish touches and home made breads. The sun-dried tomato pesto in olive oil was a pleasant amuse bouche and the medialuna, short rib risotto and cheese plate were standouts. The wine list is nice but a little pricey."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of New York. Each guest is treated with the utmost care and respect. It is romantic and fun all at once in a quaint dining room with a home-like feel, but food with such elegant taste. And maybe their wines are just so good that I'm looking through rose-colored glasses, but the lighting makes everyone at your table glow beautifully. It is an all-around perfect spot for a celebration of any sort."
