"AS A TREAT I TOOK A TEENAGE MEMBER OF MY FAMILY TO DINNER AT PIATTO NOVO. WE HAD THE CHICKEN ARROSTO AND A PORK CHOP DISH. WE WERE SEATED NEXT TO THE WINDOW LOOKING OUT AT THE WATERFALL. THE COMBINATION OF A SCENIC VIEW AND A DELICIOUS MEAL MADE IT JUST DELIGHTFUL FOR MY YOUTHFUL GUEST. I WANTED TO GET THIS YOUNG FAMILY MEMBER ACCUSTOMED TO ENJOYING FINE DINING. A EVENING AT PIATTO NOVA HELPED TO ACCOMPLISH MY LESSON PLAN!!!"

"Loved the Piatto as usual. You can always count on the atmosphere and the scenic view of the Cuyahoga River and Falls to make your occasion a memorable one. Service is always excellent. "Great atmosphere and service! Even on a cold, dark night the view was nice (doesn't really feel like you are in the "Falls") and the little background music of a band playing upstairs was pleasant.
The Salt & Pepper Calamari was wonderful (I'm always skeptical of sea food while not on an actual coast). The avocado dipping sauce was amazing...easily the best sauce I've ever had with Calamari. My NY strip steak, roasted potatoes, herbed carrots were very tasty and gave me a leftover meal almost as good as the fresh meal the following day.
My girlfriend loved her meal (Fettucine Del Mare) as well and was impressed by how fresh tasting all the sea food was. Thrilled by her scallops and made for another very good leftover meal."

"I asked for a particular table in my reservation request, but was denied even though I was only the 3'd customer of the evening and the table was available. It was later given to another couple. In my original reservation notes I had also asked to speak to a representative about a reservation for 7 on a later date. That didn't happen either.
Upon my departure, i spoke to Edson, who was apparently the Host or Restaurant Mgr. I asked him about my requested table and my request for another reservation. He informed me in a matter-of-fact tone that he DOES NOT read the notes or special requests on reservations. When this restaurants changes hands in the near future, I suggest the new owner evaluate staff as well as a new menu."

"The food selection , quantity and quality were very good. My only complaint would be that they started to remove the food and break down the stations by 1:45. With having reservations at one this made us feel rushed and by the time we were ready for dessert most of it was put away and all the rest was crammed around the fruit and salad bar. A couple of people even asked if there was any more moose left to be told no it was all gone but after further inquiry to another staff member yes indeed there was some but it was in the kitchen already put away. They did serve us the moose. I feel that if you are going to advertise service until two then all the stations should be maintained until two."

"View was great from any table. restaurant is along side a rapids and upstream is a dam / waterfall. Down stream is an amazing view. Many times a restaurant like this has ordinary food but the food here was really good. They have a salad and soup bar at lunch and the soup was excellant. The lobster bisque was really good with lots of lobster meat"
