"We discovered Turkish cuisine on a recent vacation in Turkey, and have had difficulty finding delicious Turkish food in the U.S. Turquoise does a wonderful job of capturing the complex, savory flavors we were missing."

"My girlfriend and I sat at the bar for dinner on Saturday. The restaurant was packed and lovely with a great atmosphere. We had friendly combination of waiters that have recommendations on food. The meal was great and came at a reasonable price."

"The sea bass is outstanding. The Turquoise feta salad was prepared and served just like in Turkey. Great wine selection. Service is friendly and attentive."

"My only problem with this place is that we were sat in a basement the resembled your moms basement. service was lacking due to the full house upstairs and the kitchen is also upstairs. We could barley get water let alone wine. We weren't pleased. If you make a reservation make sure you are seated upstairs where the real restaurant is located otherwise you may as well skip it."

"We went at 6:45 on a Saturday. There were a lot of small children there, but it was early. If you were to dine later, I doubt that would be an issue."

"Turqoise is a popular family run business that has some unique Mediterranean dishes. There is a lot of pride and great flavor in everything I have had there. One of my favorite spots. They get even busier in summer when they have limited outdoor seating."

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent warm bread to start with interesting radish spread. Specials of bottled wines unfortunately limited as they had run out of most, but the merlot was very good. We had steak and grouper as entrees--excellent. Will be back!"

"Sells wine only by the bottle - and it is not even a good or wide selection. If you enjoy wine with your meals, this isn't the place. We were warned that the service isn't good. The place was less than 1/2 full and the service was dreadfully slow."

"The Turkish Delight dish (medley of delicious veggies on top of a huge hummus plate with dried apricots) was a real winner. Lamb kebobs were also excellent."

"Had an early dinner on Easter Sunday, so the restaurant was not too crowded. Grilled calamari, zucchini pancakes, and caprese were wonderful appetizers and were ample to share between a group of five. Ordered three different lamb dishes (begendi, and yogurt and onion kebabs), steak, and grouper. Everyone thought their dish was the best! Again, portion size was ample and three of us had leftovers to take home. Split several desserts - the baklava was especially good, not too sweet as sometimes happens. Service was informative and attentive, but not overbearing. Wine was reasonable. Would definitely return and recommend!"

"Food was great service was bad, I think they forgot to put in our order, we actually had to ask someone to help the table next to us. The server acted like he didn't want to be there. The bartender was very nice."

"I've dined at Turqouise several times over the last few years. Based on my first few experiences, I would have rated Turqouise excellent in every way. However, on my most recent trip it got away from them... They did not have Mussels OR their posted Wine special available. Their signature dipping sauce was way off from normal excellence. Our entrees arrived nearly an hour after we ordered them... my Grouper was deep fried (though it said nothing about being fried on the menu) and after the three bites all which had bones in them, I couldn't take it anymore. I informed the server of my displeasure to which he responded "It's fish, it has bones". We left. I hope they figure it out... or that I just caught them on a REALLY bad night!"

"We booked our reservation for our anniversary. We were accomodated but also rushed a bit. I do love the place for the location and the quality of the food. We will be back but would appreciate a less hurried experience. Thank you."

"As always--excellent service, delicious food. The tender grilled calamari is served with cubes of roasted potatoes, hearts of palm, and an assortment of lettuces. The zucchini pancakes with a yogurt sauce are outstanding. Lamb Begendi (succulent cubes of lamb shoulder, tomato, peppers) is served on a bed of eggplant puree mixed with melting mozzarella. Oh, and the bread that starts the meal resembles an airy focaccia studded with sesame seeds. It is addictive. A terrific restaurant with a price point as appealing as the cuisine."

"We had a large group of people with several kids and were able to book the party room downstairs. It was a perfect setup, especially with the kids. Because there were so many of us, the server suggested going with a fixed price menu, which turned out to be pretty expensive. But the food was excellent and everyone was stuffed silly by the end of the meal. Also our server was very accommodating and attentive."

"This is a great place. Food is always good and the servers are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. But they have crowded in so many tables that it is almost difficult to move and to sit down. This is largely from the back to the front of the restaurant. Also the noise level was really high and hard to talk to people at our table. Otherwise we really enjoy this place!"
