"Blundered in here twice while attending The Hukilau. This is the Mexican food I grew up on, not the garbage most "Mexican" restaurants carry. I'll be back many, many times on return visits to FLL. A new favorite. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a great meal."

"We have had many breakfasts, lunch and dinner at Dos Caminos. Every time is wonderful, food is always top quality and exceptional service. Located at the Sheraton on the beach, there were days we never left the hotel because of Dos Caminos quality."

"the music was very loud in the dinning area.. People were talking very loud because of the music.. I was able to hear my brother t,hat was on the other side of the table.. When our food finally arrived at the table it was all wrong.. It was so hard to talk to the waitress due to all the loud noise!!"

"Terrible. Not at all deserving of the dos Caminos name. Our drinks took almost 25 minutes to come out and my wife returned her quesadillas twice because they came out first with shrimp in them and then a second time with onions. She ordered plain cheese quesadillas. My steak was fatty and tasted like it was from sizzler. Don't go. Rocco's on las olas is a much better option for high end Mexican."

"Crammed 4 large people into a tiny table although the restaurant was 80% empty. Water glasses sat empty awhile. Food was good but not as great as in times past."

"We sat down and the waiter greeted us in a timely fashion, we ordered our first round of drinks and an app, once those came (which it took a long time for our drinks) the waiter did not come back until i stopped her to get a second round of drinks and to ask about a menu item. The second round of drinks took a while and after being there for a total of and hour and fifteen minutes with the server not coming by once after we got our second round I asked for the check and left. We sat outside and there were only maybe 4 other tables. The service was bad and I cannot comment on the food because we did not get a chance to order."

"Good food but would be a better location separate to what is effetively an airport hotel. I went on the strength of the NYC locations. This was disappointing."

"I am from ny and have been to their manhattan locations several times. I would compare this dos caminos to equal that of an Applebee's. we were a group of eight seated by the outside door which they said would not be open. However the staff kept opening the door to let people in and out. The server was terrible and barely understood our order. My husband ordered sweet plantains and out came a dish of sweet potatoes. All our meals were just low quality. Tasteless bland and not what we expect from dose caminos We also waited one hour for the food to be served. Do not waists your time especially with so many other options in the area"

"It was good... they were able to accommodate a change to our number of guests (from 5 to 8) no problem. The guacamole was really good... and yes, per a previous rater, would've been more fun prepared table-side. The tween girls all got quesadillas but the more adventurous adults went with tacos, short ribs and the ceviche.
I'm partial to a very particular style of ceviche & asked the waiter whether or not it was small, bite-sized pieces or larger chunks. He said they were small. However, the Ceviche Trio was large chunk tuna (flavor was nice), a few large shrimp (flavor very nice) and 4 large sliced scallops (less than desirable flavor)."

"Service was pretty awful. Main course was delicious (tacos asada), fresh guacamole was disappointing. Noise was deafening inside, outdoor seating was almost worse with passing traffic."

"It was absolutely awful. I am a big fan of Dos Caminos in NYC and frequent the various NYC locations quite often. I was in South Florida for work and had heard that there was a Dos Caminos in Ft. Lauderdale. I made a reservation and brought a number of work peers from other banks to the Sheraton Hotel location. It was a humiliating experience for me when we all arrived and the restaurant was a dark, drab, low cost version of its NYC counterparts. The frozen drinks were very poor and the ambience was very low end. I am surprised that the Dos Caminos company would even allow this location to exist and bring down its reputation."

"Guacamole was great but portions were way too small especially for the price. All the other food was very bland and "un-mexican". We had four different dishes and did not like any of them. Very disappointed."
