Over priced for average food.

"Food is overpriced for what you get. I used to go to this place even when they were in their original, smaller location. Lamp chops including a side greek salad was $16 back then. Now its $23 for the lamp chops and you will have to pay an extra $2 more for a side of greek salad.
I noticed that the lamp chops were smaller as well.
I looked at the other items in the menu and there were at least 25% more than other comparable greek restaurants.
I think i've had my last visit to this place."

"We had an opportunity to dine out at Mad Greek Restaurant in Richmond, BC on Fri, 1 Feb 2013 during the Vancouver Dine out season. We were thrilled and excited to try out Vancouver Dine out menu. We ordered roast lamp and vegetarian moussaka. We did not enjoy the dinner due to over cooked and no flavour. We were very disappointed with quality of the food. We did not finish our plates and left the restaurant unsatisfactory and unhappy. I never had the worst experienced such a bad quality of Greek food on my entire life and never ever will go back to the Mad Greek Restaurant. The name represents a lot. You will be sad and mad after being at MAD GREEK RESTURANT. Do not waste your money and time. Our night out was ruined and will not"

"We went to take advantAge of the dine out menu and they cut back on the food for it. The salad was very small and the main course did not even fill us up. The waitress was not friendly and was not attentive. We left feeling like we still needed to eat somewhere."

"We participated in Dine Out Vancouver. Four high school girls from the 70's enjoyed a wonderful evening out with a great selection of food options. Our server was courteous and helpful when deciding on menu and wine choices. Great night out."

"They were offering an $18 menu for Dine Out Vancouver. It was a wonderful meal and a great deal. A few of the servers could benefit from at least attempting to smile but the service was good considering it was packed at the restaurant that night. Will definitely be back."

"Overall the food and atmosphere were great. The only criticism I have is that the food portions were quite small. I am not sure if this is normal or the plates were scaled down for the Dine Out Vancouver offerings. If the latter is the case, I feel it is counterproductive as the restaurant is trying to attract new customers. I believe this is the 1st time I have ever left a Greek restaurant still hungry."

"The restaurant was very busy as expected as it was the first night of Dine Out Vancouver. In spite of that the server was pleasant and quick to bring our drinks and food. Everything was hot and served within a good timeline. The appetizers (we all had the spinach pie) were excellent, crisp and flaky with a nice bite from the feta cheese. Our next course was the prawn souvlaki and it came with a spiced rice and potato along with a bowl of creamy tzatziki for dipping. All in all a very satisfying dish. The baklava for dessert did not disappoint either, it was not too sweet and just enough to finish off the meal. The only item I would not order again was the dollar a piece pita, it was very white and tasted like styrofoam."
