"all was good, except the lighting. Hard to read the menu. I previously selected my meal on line before hand. my sister had not, but weirdly enough she was carrying a small flashlight in her hand bag! ( funny, huh?) we enjoyed the evening at 20 manning, after all!!!"

"We had a great time celebrating my boyfriend's bday. I had the butternut squash ravioli. It was excellent!!! The only issue was the portion was entirely too small compared to what everyone else enjoyed. Our server was pretty good. I absolutely love Twenty Manning and would recommend it every time!!!"

"While the food was good, the service was absolutely deplorable. The waitress poured half a glass of wine on the table because she was looking somewhere else as she was pouring! She said she would replace it, but never did!! I ordered oysters on the half shell. While the calamaris of my partner came immediately, my oysters came 30 minutes later (!!!). She had finished her appetizer when mine finally came. To take that long, I think they had to go get them somewhere else! They should not put on the menu something they cannot serve in a reasonable amount of time. Finally, for dessert, we ordered chocolate fondant. It was served cold! It should have been served warm. A very mediocre restaurant!"

"The portions are generous, but not gluttonous. The wait staff work together well to provide excellent service without being attentive to the point of annoyance. The food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. I had the beets, ravioli and dessert sampler. My date had the tomato bisque, duck confit and the same dessert sampler. My date is frequently let down by restaurants, but even he did not have anything bad to say. I will gladly return here and will bring other friends who haven't yet been. I'd also like to return in the spring and summer to take advantage of outdoor seating."

"We tried it for restaurant week, and we'll be back! Everything was excellent, including the service (it's sort of "fair game": whichever waiter's near will help you). The food was exquisite, and hard to choose, since there are so many choices on the menu. Only reservation we had about the place: it's noisy. Hard to carry on a conversation. Definitely not a place for intimate conversation."

"Food was outstanding! I was hoping to have missed the last day of restaurant week only because there are a trillion things I wanted to try off the menu and RW only offers a few of their select items. However, everything sounded amazing! We ended up getting market fresh beets, tuna sashimi, vegetables, and the flash seared tuna (ridiculously delicious tuna) it was all amazing. By the time the mini desserts came, I was too full, but they also looks great and I'm sure tasted wonderfully. Ambiance is gorgeous, I think it's such a beautiful spot- especially in Summer when the windows are all opened! Service was OK, however being in the service industry myself, I was totally able to tell that the waitress needed the table for the next reservation"

"we were visiting Philly for the week-end and had read some good reviews. We didn't know that it was restaurant week.. We were hoping for a special evening and it was anything but. From the moment we arrived the vibe from the staff was that they didn't want us or anyone else there. Our menus were slapped down, the service was rushed and brusque and I think we were in and out in an hour. It's ironic that the purpose of restaurant week is to show off a restaurant to make return customers. But many restaurants and this one more than any other I've been to clearly HATES restaurant week so they defeat their purpose. I can't imagine anyone returning there after that experience!"

"Have been here many times......most recently during Philly Restaurant week, I expected the portions to be smaller and more frugal but this was not the case, my beet appetizer on goat cheese was fabulous, and the organic chicken was as comfort food and tasty as it gets. Service was very very attentive despite a full restaurant. Tables are close and conversation can get a bit noisy but a small price to pay for just a great great place. Plan on eating at the bar next time which looked very inviting."

"Everything about it was awesome... Went here with friends for restaurant week and fell in love with this spot. Food portions were filling. I had the salmon (they could have gave me a little more veggies & starch) and it was seasoned perfectly. The pork chop was huge with plenty of sides... Same with the chicken breast. Definitely will be back."

"Service was good, atmosphere was lively, food was delicious but the current set up is very small and since I was on crutches I asked to not be at a high volume table. But they put me right in the middle of the room where everyone needed to walk by. I also think to many table are too close together. You can barely hear your own conversation. But overall a great place."
