The Seven Seas Restaurant is nestled in the scenic hills of the Kettle Moraine on the East shore of beautiful Lake Nagawicka, located just minutes from Waukesha or Madison’s East Side.

"We went for Father's Day brunch. The food was delicious and bountiful. The view of the lake and the beautiful flowers and landscaping outside make it a great place to take family pictures. A perfect place for a celebration !"

"Our family enjoyed a special night out at Seven Seas. Everyone in our party was very happy with their food. I had the fish special and the chicken dumpling soup - both were fantastic. We enjoyed a walk around their beautiful grounds and the lake views as well."

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner celebrating our anniversary. The crab cakes and spinach salad were both delicious. The steak was prepared perfectly. The pace is slower between courses allowing conversation and a relaxed atmosphere. A couple seated near us did not like the sausage soup stating too spicy and the waitress offered a different soup free of charge. The wait staff worked hard to satisfy all requests."

"Took my sales and senior staff there after an all day meeting. Good place for us to unwind from the day. Good views from the bar and the dining room. They placed us in a more private area so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Good food, good service. Definately would go back, either with large group or smaller party."

"My husband took me to the Seven Seas for our Anniversary. We were given a corner table by the window which overlooked the lake. The view was breathtaking! Our waitress was very friendly. The food was good. I had the Wiener Schnitzel, which was excellent. I didn't really care for the spaetzel, which they have seasoned different than before. I liked it better before,but that's just me. My husband had the filet, which he said was very good & cooked to his liking (medium rare). I thought the bill was kind of expensive though. It came out to be about $95.00. I had 2 cocktails, & my husband had 1. All in all, we really liked it & would go back."

"We celebrated an event with a group of seven women. Drinks on the outdoor patio were served by a wonderful bartender/server. The view of the lake and a group of sailboats darting back and forth could not have been better. We continued our party into the bar area when the temps chilled a bit after sunset. We had a wonderful table set for seven when we went into the restaurant. The service was excellent and our assorted food choices were wonderful. Shrimp Aloha, bacon-wrapped scallops, vegetarian pasta, filet, and salmon were among our choices. Our special evening was topped with a personal concert on the accordian from the owner of the restaurant. We captured the memories with photos and a video."

"Monday is probably not the best night to judge a dining experience since the restaurant was virtually empty (two other tables besides us). We got a great table by the window and the food was outstanding as usual (duck, schnitzel, scallops).
Unfortunately, the service was nothing special. Long wait between hors d'oeuvres and dinners and no offers to fill water glasses or see how we were doing.
The most disappointing thing was that it was a special occasion (60th birthday), and even though we specifically notified the hostess and asked if a dessert or piece of cake could be brought after the dinner to the birthday person, nothing was done. Consequently, none of us were in the mood for dessert afterwards. Very disappointing."

"We were disappointed. The scallops were overcooked and dry. The fish dish had a sauce that didn't seem to compliment, but rather detract. The spinach was bitter. The rice and pasta sides were good, and the wine list respectable. Dessert was good. Service was friendly, but a little off the pace."

"Before I continue, I must note that my complaints are trivial. They would never deter my future visits.
We came a bit on the early side and there were few people dining. I felt a bit uncomfortable being sat at table right next to one that was on the upper level. I think it caused both tables from engaging in any intimate conversation. There were many other tables that could have been chosen. The only other thing was my steak was very rare when I ordered it medium. It was still delicious as well as everything else. Staff was outstanding as always."
