"The service and the food were outstanding. The steaks were grilled to perfection and the Bisque was superb.
Our favorite sides were the potatos au gratin and the spinich the served same way.
Ther wine list is extensive ( maybe somewhat overwelming) but several nice "by the glass" options as well as a
full bar are also available
This is a nice choice for a celebration or a business dinner."

"20% Service charge added to bill for a party of 5. Two bottle of very nice wine accounted for 75 dollars of the service charge. That was one pour only from bottle. Lobster bisque was not edible had to be sent back, offered specials and then came back to table and said they were out."

"I booked a small group lunch here for my company celebration. We had a private room in the back that was built inside of an atrium. The food and service was amazing. We were well attended to and everyone gave raving reviews on everything they ordered. The only comment I have about our experience was the noise level in that back room. Due to the fact it was built inside of the atrium, whenever anyone walked by with a rolling cart, it "thundered" inside our little area and we felt the vibrations. Also, we did not have a door to our area so we were able to hear what the other patrons were talking about in the main dining room, especially those who sat up against the wall to our private room. Other wise, it was great!"

"Always one of the top places to eat in Houston as it is at the top of the steakhouses in Houston. The waitstaff is always very attentive and the table's have enough spacing so you feel a more private dining experience. Great wine list. Not many times does one go out and every portion of the meal being exceptional but that is more the norm for Lynn's. The steak and lobster is always well prepared."

"Based upon reviews, the expectation of the visit was very high. We were greeted very warmly when we arrived and were promptly seated. The service was lacking. The appetizer was excellent, but the quality of the food was not. Based upon the temperature of the overall meal, it appeared to have been ready for sometime, but not served. The wait for our meal was normal for a restaurant of this quality, however, my wife was not feeling well, so we did not attempt to return it, but ate some of it, and got the rest to take home."

"We were seated in the "wine room" which was strickly for couples and was much quieter than the main dinning room. However, the room was very chilly. To keep warm, my wife's beautiful dress had to be hidden under her coat all evening. Only two entree options on the menu for Valentines; the Sweetheart Steak and the Valentine Surf & Turf. As always, the steaks were very good. The lobster tail was a disappointment. Wasn't fresh and may have been shipped frozen. For the price, I expected a much better lobster tail. For a romantic dining experience, Lynn's is still on my list. However, we will not dine their when only a limited menu is offered(as it was for Valentines)."

"Lynn's Steakhouse is absolutely heavenly....for food. 've had, except Perry's. Service was great, ambience is quaint, overall a great restaurant. We went on Valentine's for dinner with myself, wife and my daughters. The one extremely glaring problem with this place is the inflated prices of the food. Delicious as it may be, it is probably prices twice as much as it should be."

"I had planned a special evening with my wife on Valentine's Day but when I arrived at Lynn's I learned they had a set menu for the evening and that our choices were EXTREMELY limited. However no mention was made of the menu limitation when I made my reservations or when I received confirmation of my reservations. In fact the confirmation e-mail had a link to the menu, which was the full and normal menu. At 6:00 p.m.on Valentine's day was too late to chose another restaurant, so we were stuck with a limited AND overpriced menu, when compared to the prices for the same items on the regular menu. It was clear that Lynn's only objective for the evening was to have food pre-prepared so they could turn over the tables very quickly."

"We were ushered into the wine room where the temperature was 59ºF (I know because the thermometer on the wall to keep the wine chilled was right in front of me). We were seated at 7pm. Many couples came in after us and were served before us and it was a prix fixe menu. Talking to the waiter (when I could actually find him) revealed our ticket had been "lost" and he said the manager would come talk to us. The manager never showed up. When we did get the order (8:30pm) the food was cold. Though the flavor was good the cold meal did not appeal to me. I thought this was totally unreasonable for a $250 tab. Thank you for a wonderful Valentine's dinner date."
