"We had a reservation for 9:45, walked in earlier in fact , at 9:30. Wanted to have a round of drinks while thinking about what to order. Only to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:30 and we have no time to mull over the menu, on protesting about our reservation being for 9:45 and therefore should be given the time, we were curtly informed that Open table reservations are not valid and therefore a 9:45 reservation can not be honored. The manager was having a bad day perhaps or there is a larger problem. Can't say. We were fortunate to be served at all.
Certainly not an experience to remember."

"We had such a lovely time at Rasoi! We loved our waiter, very attentive and thoughtful service. I had the matar paneer, one of my comfort foods, and my husband had the lamb vindaloo. Both were on the spicy side, which I expected from the vindaloo but not from the paneer. Both were delicious. The vindaloo was a rich, red color and the lamb was very tender. Our server even brought us a Punjabi curry that he thought we'd like and a samosa, for free! All very very tasty. This is a gem in an otherwise bland food neighborhood!"

"I can't say enough about this place! My favorite Indian restaurant is a little place in Kenmore Square (Boston) and food at Rasoi was just as good plus the atmosphere was much more pleasant! The service was attentative without being intrusive and very friendly. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town."

"Great meal! Flavors were incredible - they can make any dish spicier for you. We tried lots of different items, perfect for a group meal. Everyone walked away very happy and full. Cannot wait to go back!"

"Food was very good, with a few different dishes than most Indian restaurants. The Pindi Chaal and the hot and sour cauliflower were excellent. The service was very good to start then it appeared we got lost in the shufgle for quite awhile until we flagged down a waiter to pay."

"Great place, great food, great service. Our server was attentive and friendly and the food was great. I would definitely recommend Rasoi to others. We went on a Sunday night and it was fairly empty when we got there but soon after 3-4 other groups of people showed up. You would have thought we were the only people in the place though as the service didn't change and stayed top notch. Excellent food as well."

"My friends and I came here to have dinner and catch up after not seeing each other for a long time. It was the perfect atmosphere to be able to enjoy delicious food and be able to talk. We didn't feel rushed at all and our waitress was really nice, personable and took great care of us. The food was really great, we all enjoyed our selections. We all had the vegetarian and vegan meals, so I can only speak to those. There were also happy hour specials that we could take advantage of at our table. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants a delicious dinner somewhere quiet enough to hear each other. I will be back again!"

"Originally i jad hoped to go to another popular indian restaurant but could not get a reservation. i am glad i had to look for an alternatove and found this restaurant.it had excellent food and service. The waiter made valuable suggestions. While the prices were a bit higher than I have found at some other Indian restaurants, the food was worth the price. I look forward to returning."

"Got an Open Table reservation for 8pm on a Saturday, which was not necessary. It wasn't empty, but there were certainly plenty of tables available. We started with the vegetable samosa and the aloo tikki chaat, both were great, but the vegetable samosa is definitely an order I'd get again. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and masala pepper gosht with the spinach naan. Both lamb dishes were good, but I've certainly had better naan. Paired with Australian Shiraz, it was a great meal."

"Not a bad place for Indian buffet for lunch. Go there if nearby, but not a place that you should go out of your way to try. Dinner menu can get very expensive very quickly."

"All of the food on the menu was excellent. I learned to like Indian food while based in London while my friend was very new to it. She enjoyed her chiken tika and I had a vegetarian dish. The waitstaff was very helpful especially to her making a good selection. However, we were surprised there were not more customers as our reservation was for 7.30. The restaurant lacked that certain buzz that comes with a reasonable number of customers. However, perhaps the restaurant is new or there is some other valid reason. If you like Indian or what to give it a try, this is good place for you. Also, great value for money."

"I arrived for an early lunch and the place was not full at all. By the time I left, however, there was a line of people waiting. Most of the diners I was able to be observe opted for the lunch buffet, but I chose to order from the regular menu. I had a spicy lamb dish and it was delicious. The naan bread is extra, but totally worth it. Perhaps I'll try the buffet on my next visit."
