Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse - Bay Area
Just like in our name, Tradicao, we stay true to the foundations of the traditional Brazilian churrascaria.
The experience is split up into two parts
Part 1: Salad Bar - After being seated, guests can help themselves to our gourmet salad bar stocked with more than 30 fresh items.
Part 2: Meat - At each of our seats, we include a coaster with a red side and a green side. Once back at their table, guests can start signaling our gauchos (meat servers) by flipping over the coaster to the red side. This indicates that the guest is ready to enjoy the 13+ succulent meats, which include lamb, beef, chicken, and fish. As an accent to the meat, we provide five delicious side dishes.

"We are fans of Fogo but Tradicao is our new love. Like their grilled Salmon, filet mignon, lamb chops, House special Picanha ( top sirloin), grilled shrimp. Large wine list, good service, nice salad bar and wide range of desserts."

"This was great a great place to eat! I've eaten at other Brazilian restaurants and love the food. This was better! They have a larger selection of meats that aren't at other Brazilian restaurant. The service was great! The manager and waitstaff we informative and helpful in getting all the cuts we wanted cooked the way we like them. Everyone was very personable and really made the night enjoyable. We were even given a $20 coupon off our next visit. I will certainly visit again and tell my friends to dine here when they are in the area!"

"My partner and I were visiting the Houston area for the NBA All-Star games and this restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. We have been to Brazil and love the churrascarias, so we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food and the service was. The manager came over to ask us how our experience had been and we got into a great 15 minute conversation with him about Brazil and the Wshington DC area churrascarias. Whenever in Houston, we will make it a point to stop by this restaurant."

"My husband and I went for a Valentine's dinner and the food was delicious! The baby beef and the lamb are meats you should try as well as their house specialty beef. The sides and the salad bar is good but be sure to not fill up on them! We were there early in the evening and service was good. As the evening went on, you can see it get busier."

"My wife and I went on Valentines Day. Obviously a busy day, but the restaurant did not seem very well prepared for the large crowd. This was our first time there. We were set in a small room in the back of the restaurant, which was not as nice as the main area. no table cloths, fairly tight quarters with the other guests. Salad bar was pretty nice, but the food was just OK, nothing spectacular. This could have been due to the large number of patrons, so maybe the kitchen was just in the weeds. I tried almost all the meats. I expected the filets to have better taste, but they just didn't have much flavor, and I thought a little on the rare side. Service was OK, forgot our side items. Did not like the gratuity being included for 2."

"Extremely busy for Valentine's Day. Felt rushed by wait staff, and folks waiting for a table to eat their meal. Valet parking was unorganized and backed up. On a good note, food was tasty. Shrimp was especially good! Salad bar was well stocked."

"Truly enjoyed our evening out here. The service was prompt, friendly and engaging. Anything you may request, was brought immediately and very attentive to get the request correct. First time I've ever enjoyed leaving a hefty tip. The house special meat was my favorite. We will be returning again... hopefully soon!!!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Tradicao! Food was excellent, service was prompt and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Very similar to Fogo de Chao but they don't make their waiters wear ridiculous uniforms! Nice atmosphere... reasonably quiet... a neighborhood gem!"
