Cabernet Steakhouse is a Classic New York Style Steakhouse with an abundance of seafood. We have white table-cloth service in a lavish setting. We offer 5 Private and semi-private dining areas for every type of function. We also have a cigar bar and patio where we feature live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday. Lunch is also available Monday - Friday where value driven Sandwiches and Burgers are a staple as well as extensive salad, seafood and steak dishes.

"I reserved a table for 4 moms, myself included and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and worth every cent. Great service- We asked our server for mimosas at 12:30 (once it was legally ok to serve alcohol) and at 12:31 we had our mimosas served. Phenomenal experience."

"Amazing. Food was great. Prime Rib, Lamb, Lobster Tails. They had oysters on the half shell that were as fresh as could be, along with peel and eat shrimp. There was also an assortment of regular entrees (baked salmon, Chicken Marsala, mac and cheese, and other sides as well as breakfast items. My wife loved the croissants. The family favorite was the table full of deserts. Service was great as usual. The Executive Chef even came around to check on the tables and say happy Mother's Day."

"My best friends and I selected Cabernet for a friends birthday celebration and it was perfect. We had a wonderful meal, timed perfectly. I hate when dinner is rushed and you can't enjoy each course. Fernando and team were tremendous hosts and servers. My friends were happy and I was happy. The music in the bar afterward was a bonus. It was a shame when it had to end at 11pm. Perfect night.
On another note, do not attempt to thieve one of Fernando's coveted pens. You will be caught and persecuted! :)"

"Every thing was good. Not great compared to other establishments in the same range. Food was "good" - served warm. Service was "ok" - wait staff seemed over assigned tables and the ambiance was "ok" - if you like smoke. It would have been great if you liked the 80s restaurant smoking/non-smoking split. I'd advise against sitting on the side of the restaurant that borders their "club" as you get a blast of cigar and cigarette smoke each time someone enters/exits including the wait staff. Not for me though..."

"For the expensive price the value was not there. The lobster bisque was very good, though it is a lobster broth served with crab, not lobster. Salads was very fresh and the creamy basil dressing was good. But it went downhill quickly after the appetizers. The steak was average. The rib eye was flavorful but surprisingly tough. The salmon with parmesan crust was overpowered by the topping and very salty. Creamed spinach was watery and cold. The bearnaise sauce was served cold instead of warm. The waiter argued that bearnaise sauce is always served chilled.
The service was very poor. The waiter was put out when having to explain the menu. No one checked how things were going after serving dishes. Iced teas were never refilled."

"When you are looking for a restaurant that serves an excellent meal with outstanding service, Cabernet is sure to please you. Their filet is melt-in-your- mouth delicious.
My favorite salad is the Warm Spinach while my husband loves the Caesar, especially with anchovies. The Lobster Bisque is excellent. No one makes creamier, tastier mashed potatoes. It's hard to choose between the other sides as each one we've tried has been very tasty and cooked just right. If you have room for dessert, try the wonderful crème Brule, or the no-flour chocolate cake, or the New York Cheesecake, or... well, you get the picture. Cabernet is always our choice for celebrating a special occasion, or for a romantic evening for just the two of us."

"I always enjoy going there for brunch on holidays. The buffet food is great.
This last visit, however, we sat on an enclosed patio and the ambiance wasn't as nice and the service was just so so. It was my fault that we sat on the patio. They asked if it was okay and I said we would try it. I won't sit there again. I much prefer the inside - especially on a holiday."

"This was my first time to Cabernet for Easter brunch.Upon entering, it reaked of stale cigar smoke which had drifted from the bar/patio area, which is also where the food tables were set up for the buffet.We adjusted to that and the dark surroundings however. The food selection was tasty and sufficient, although if you're a bread and dessert lover,you'll be disappointed. Selections were minimal and appeared to be purchased from Costco, served cold out of the box. The prime rib, lamb and seafood / salad bar were very good. Omelets were light and cooked to perfection. Staff was excellent and friendly, including the valet. For brunch reservations, go early to avoid long lines. It wasn't brunch at The Ritz but for the cost, it was worth it."

When we were seated they were out of lobster which was a main feature on the Easter Brunch menu and no apology or anything was made. "We had an excellent experience. My dates 12 oz filet was perfect. My lobster pasta was also outstanding. The tomatoes in my pasta were divine. I'm not sure where these were hand picked from, but they were incredibly fresh and delicious. One minor issue was that we were asked if we would like freshly cracked pepper, which we did, and this minor issue was forgotten. Birthday key lime pie (even though I'm not a big fan of key lime pie) was impeccable. Looking forward to dining here again. On a side note, it seemed at the end of our dinner that some unwelcome noise was coming over the loud speaker which I found slightly annoying, but it was at the end of our meal, so we were fine. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and smiling."

"You can count on Cabernet to consistently serve really good food. The service wasn't great but wasn't bad enough to complain about. It took quite awhile to get our drinks and the waiter was trying to tell us the specials while my husband was opening a birthday gift. At the end of the meal my plate was taken away without asking if I was finished and my husband and son were still eating. All in all it's a very good restaurant that we frequent usually 2-3x per month. I do think they could benefit from some updating in their decor."

"We did not have to wait. We were seated upon arrival. Service was very good. Food was fixed to order. My wife changed the side dishs from those listed on the menu with no problem. The special was very good, as was dessert. A very nice evening. One warning. The bar area is 100% smoking. Not the place for a Pre dinner cocktail if you do not smoke."

"My wife and I visited Cabernet Steakhouse for my birthday. We have been to all of ATL's upscale steakhouses and only became aware of Cabernet perhaps 6 months ago, so it was on our short list. We were planning to visit the bar upon for a pre-dinner drink, and yes, we were aware it was a smoking bar heavy on the cigars, but we were fine with that. Unfortunately, there were no seats available, so we went straight to our table for our pre-dinner cocktail. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and my wife had the chicken. We both enjoyed our meal, but the lack of a dry-aged beef option, and just average sides prevent an outstanding rating. Service was efficient, albiet a bit fast paced. I was provided the typical gratis birthday cake."

"We went on Saturday night and they had fixed price dinner with wine pairing available. $35 for three course dinner, and $20 for wine pairing with each course. Since my wife and I both liked the food and wine offered, we ordered it. It was fantastic. My guess is that the appetizer would have been $8-12 alone, the entree another $35-40, and the dessert $8-10. Then you add on three glasses of wine for another $25-30. So the meal we got for $55, would have cost about $25 more off the menu per person. Very good deal. They also had three martini's for $5. My wife ordered one not on the special for $11, and I got the special for $5. The place was also packed. We will go back again!"

"I was a bit disappointed, my husband thought it was very good. Everything was just good, nothing outstanding. I had requested a romantic table since it was our anniversary and we were seated in the back corner next to a table of 6 men. Service was attentive but not outstanding. I had the garlic mashed potatoes and could not eat them the garlic was so heavy. I left over 1/2 of my plate and the assumption of the waiter is that I was full, he never questioned if I enjoyed the meal. We spent $200 for 2 people so in my opinion "good" is not good enough for this price."
