"I took my mom here for Mother's Day. I called to make a reservation before 4 so we could get the brunch menu (our reservation was at 4:15), but the woman I spoke with on the phone said they weren't taking any more reservations before that time. My mom and I showed up around 3:45 and the restaurant was pretty empty...very disappointing. We ordered our food and our appetizers came out fairly quickly, but our actual meals came out over 30 minutes later...after we complained to another waiter! Our food wasn't even hot anymore and my vegetables weren't cooked all the way through. The appetizer was good and a side of my mom's meal was good, but overall, terrible dining experience."

"Have lived here for almost a year and am disappointed I just found this place...thanks to Open Table.
Tapas food was great. Perfect seasoning. Very well presented, you almost feel bad eating a piece of "art" Great job by waite staff. Everything was perfect."

"We are very happy with our decision to go to Coco Cabana.
We tried to make a reservation elsewhere, for the same time, and were told we had a one hour window to eat.
Not cool.
Not only was the service great, Tuan our waiter, but the food was great.
As we have come to expect from his place.
Our 5 year old enjoyed her food, and most importantly, her Lava cake.
Good job. You made one family happy"

"I was hoping to find a local gem but it turned out to be a lump of coal. Sadly the tapas tasted as if they came out of cardboard boxes. It's a great place to grab some cocktails and finger foods for happy hour but its not a great restaurant for a meal. It's obvious that the place is managed by inexperienced restaurant owners; no food expeditors, too few food servers and overall disorganized work flows throughout. I won't be going back myself."

"Go for the tapas! All were great especially the coconut shrimp. The trout, fried was just ok. I had the garlic chicken, which to me, was way too powerful with the garlic, but weirdly, lacked flavor. After adding salt and pepper it was fine, but plan on smelling like garlic for the next two days. Desert was fun with the white powdered "donuts", which the kids loved! We will definitely be back for tapas and desert!"

"We moved to Dublin mid 2012 and Coco Cabsna has been a great local find which we have visited many times in the last months.

"Food was good but overall not a good experience. They cancelled the reservation instead of checking us in. Service was SLOW...took so long to get anything we decided to skip dessert rather than wait. Didn't even order coffee.
It was SO loud we could barely talk. Hostess unaware that large party next to us was unruly and interrupting our dining and conversation.
Too bad, because we all enjoyed the food but we will not be coming back."

"This is the first time EVER that a restaurant automatically charged us a gratuity AND left a space on the tab for me to add a tip. Are there really people who don't understand that a gratuity and a tip are the same thing? Is the restaurant so desperate for additional money that they try to milk it from unsuspecting customers? This left a very bad taste in what otherwise was a pretty good dining experience.
The food was good, although we would have preferred to select from the regular menu. The waitstaff was a bit haughty, although it was a busy holiday evening. Other than the double-tip experience, we would probably have given this restaurant another try."

"We ate here for Valentine's Day - has their preset menu. Good value but quality suffered a little - 5 courses - tapas sampler, salad, entree, desert and Champagne. I order steak/shrimp with mash potatoes and my wife the rice with salmon. Not all the fixing came with same temperature suggesting the some pre prepping of the sides. The deserts are skip-able tres leche was a little powdery and the hazelnut silk was more of a brownie.
Good energetic crowd but not too noisy, great service and a place I would go back on a "normal" day to check out the food."

"Went to Coco Cabana with a large group of 8 people. It's REALLY LOUD at this restaurant. It you want a quiet restaurant, don't go here. The food was good, and all of us dining at Coco Cabana gives mixed reviews. The meatballs were warm, not hot. One person said they were too salty. It was more of an Italian style than a Latin or Cubana style dish. We ordered only Tapas for the whole table. With a large group, gratuity is automatically added. However, I don't believe we received the service we deserved. With a large group, our waitress and dish bussers need to check more often. Unfortunately, they didn't check back with us very much. It was busy, but not that busy. Not sure if the staffing levels were correct."

"it was a birthday party, most of the food was good. The waitress got confused as to who order what. I got the dish I wanted and it was taken from me becasue I order something different. It was in fact my dish but I order sweet potatoes fries and some how she though I order a dish that had the sweet potatoes fries included. The salmon had not taste and it was a little under cooked. There was two more people that were dissatisfied with their order."

"The restaurant outdoor signage lights were not on, so our out-of-town guests had great difficulty finding the restaurant. I reported the issue to the seating hostess and she said "that's my manager's job". The signage lights were still off when left. Inside the restaurant, it was too dark and the music far too loud to enjoy a conversation. The food was good and the service was very good, but could not compensate for the lack of management's attention to the customer. I cannot recommend."
