Bloom, like its sister restaurant Wildflower, serves New American Cuisine with a seasonally changing menu. Featuring a beautiful blend of classic American favorites with influences from European and Asian cuisines, the menu at Bloom showcases the freshest, most delicious ingredients resulting in something for every palate and endless opportunities for new food and wine combinations. Bloom is a popular meeting spot for local business people and shoppers alike, offering a full bar, extensive wine list, and indoor and outdoor seating. "Everything was excellent. From wine menu to dessert menu, the choices were diverse, adequate, desirable, and delicious. Service was fantastic, and the lounge (where we sat) was comfortable and romantic. I would go back anytime except that it is a bit of a drive from my home in NW Denver and the location, in a mall, isn't the most attractive. In fairness, however, the space itself is lovely. We had a great time!!"

"Bloom is much better if you stick with the starters and desserts. Their entrees for dinner are poor tasting and expensive. I liked my salad and dessert the best. This is our first time for dinner as we love it for lunch. We'll go back but only for lunch."

"The goat cheese appetizers and street tacos were great, however, the main courses (shrimp risotto and sirloin steak) weren't as impressive. Specifically, the steak (which was good) is paired with french fries that are greasy and taste like fries from any local bar."

"I was very surprised to find that Bloom was much better than expected due to it's location in a mall. I've eaten at many other of the flatiron restaurants and hesitated on trying another. We always try new places during the 5280 week. Our experience is that restaurants skimp on the 5280 fare. At Bloom the portions were generous and the presentation beautiful. It was excellent in all respects.

"The food was good except the pasta dish was lacking some spices or something.They also run out of the Creme Brulee desert, it is my favorite!!!So that was disappointing. "Every time we go to Bloom, there is such a disparity between the quality of food and service. The food is always excellent, which is why we come back but the service is always horrible. This time our reservation wasn't ready and while we were waiting at the bar for our table, the maitre d started seating walk-ins ahead of us because they forgot we were waiting. Probably would not have been seated if we didn't keep going up to check on the status. Don't know if we'll keep going back but if the service level matched the food quality, we'd be there all the time."

"The Atmosphere at Bloom is nice and has a nice Contemporary flair. The waitstaff was friendly. The food has lots of flavor. I had the sirloin steak with the forbidden rice, which is a black, whole grain rice. I also had their asparugus goat cheese bruechetta which was amazing. I am pretty picky about my margaritas but was pleasantly suprised when I had their blood orange straight up. I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years and have nothing to complain about this restaraunt. The food is amazing the service is pleasant. Just don't be in any hurry when you come here cause the food does take awhile and we were there for about 3 hours but we did have a three course meal."

"Both of our appetizers and deserts were absolutely amazing. Our main courses, however, left a bit to be desired. My shrimp were dried out and chewy. The risotto, after a lot of salt was added, was the only thing I would call decent. My partner's steak, while tender, also lacked flavor and he had to douse it in salt and pepper. We both left much uneaten in the our dishes. But again, the appetizers were delightful and the deserts were sinfully indulgent."

"This is the 4th time we've been to Bloom since we moved to the area last year and every time we have a wonderful experience. The food is always great, the wine flights are fun, and the ambiance of the place makes for a nice evening with family or friends. Would definitely recommend, we haven't had anything there that we didn't like. The sirloin w/ garlic fries is especially good!"

"Food matched expectations. Meatballs were underwhelming as homemade meatballs - sauce was a little acidic. Pasta was fresh though a bit too much butter. Pork tenderloin - wonderful job of celery root risotto. Outside of pork tenderloin a bit tough (ordered medium) but inside tasted surprisingly and delightfully like bacon - though would have preferred a little less bacon taste as this is a prime pork cut and would have liked a bit more of the tenderloin taste to be emphasized.
Wish I had time to try the squash/ricotta pasta and rack of lamb.
Amazing job on the artichoke appetizer - plumb, succulent but with right grill level whose smoke permeated the artichoke. Good aioli dip on side."

"Great food, service, and ambiance! They cater to every dietary need so if you need adjustments to your meal, the chef is happy to accommodate in the most delicious way. "We have dined here many times in the past. It has been a over a year since our last visit. The menu has changed and some old favorites have either changed (scallops with fobidden rice) or disappeared (duck) from the menu, which was disappointing. The service was less than stellar. Prior arrangements made by phone with reservations for a special booth seating was not honored upon our arrival, however a suitable seating location was found once we arrived at the restaurant, altering our expectations of being shown directly to our waiting table. All in all, the quality of our dining experience was less than previously experienced."

"The 2 of us had a wonderful meal. The wine menu offered many 3-small portion flight samplers which worked out well. Choosing an entree was difficult because of the many wonderful choices. Our choices of egg noodles w/ chicken and that night's special (swordfish) were superb. The serving sizes were more than adequate, leading us to save some for later and share a fabulous dessert - Bars of Sin. Going on a weeknight allowed us to be seated in a booth - a nice treat. Service was prompt and there were no problems. My first time to dine at Bloom, but I would gladly return for another meal. The atmosphere is perfect for either a business meal or a couple's night out."

"I have had some good meals at Bloom in the past, but I was pretty disappointed this time. The food was just fair, the table was right next to a wait-station where there seemed to be a perpetual meeting underway, and the wait-staff was in-training and so things were not sequenced properly. I probably will not return any time soon."

"The food was WONDERFUL...great flavor combinations and excellent quality. The portions were almost perfect (enough to be filling, but not overwhelmingly large). I rated the service as "good" but it was close to "very good." The waitress wasn't as attentive as she could have been during the actual meal...but she was very pleasant and did go out of her way to get me a drink that is no longer featured on the menu. I had the maple braised short ribs, which were amazing. The meat fell apart at the touch of my fork, and the accompanying horseradish potato and roasted carrots were out of this world. I will definitely go back."
