"We were anticipating a gastronomic feast after a lengthy hype about the chef and the culinary legacy of the restaurant, but tactfully avoided remarking about the food and enjoyed each other's company instead. The duck breast was described by our waiter as tender with crisp skin, but was cold, overly salted and lackluster in texture. I don't know what the others in my party thought, but there was not one word shared about the food once it arrived and though we had lots to talk about, we would have had time for an appreciate YUM if it were in order!"
