Mystical Sedona, the home of The Heartline Cafe for 20 years. During this time The Heartline Cafe has been serving award winning cuisine in its beautiful main dining room, Fireside room and the Patio amidst luscious gardens and a spectacular view of the Sedona"s world famous red rock mountains. "This restaurant is an absolute must when visiting Sedona. The pecan trout is my favorite, however, everything on the menu is made with care and oh so tasty. The outdoor patio is magical. Heartline Cafe never disappoints!"

"Very nice place. Was visiting out of town and found this just 2 blocks from the hotel. Was greeted immediately and brought to our table. Restaurant was not very busy. Comfortable room with little noise. Had the filet and was prepared perfectly. Had garlic mashed potatoes that were just fantastic. Moderately priced and well worth the visit."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience at the Heartline Cafe. We sat in the patio early one morning. The ambiance was peaceful and colorful with jasmine flowers adorning the blue outdoor patio wall and butterflies fluttering about as we enjoyed our steak and eggs and stuffed burrito sitting under a huge colorful beach umbrella. We also happened to enjoy their flourless chocolate cake...yummy delicious!!! The service was warm and welcoming. I would go back and enjoy a meal there again."

"We were in town for a week and hit several of the more popular restaurants in the area. The food here is great, the service is attentive and personal, and the price is a better value than many of the other spots. We saw a lot of locals, which told us that this was a place that appealed to the folks who really knew the area restaurants well. Parking is tight...their website has advice if you have trouble finding a space. Read it before you depart for your reservation. This is a definite stop for us next time we are in town!"

"We loved The Heartline Cafe. My husband and I both ordered their specials for that day. My was a stuffed chicken breast served with some Mexican flavored rice. It was outstanding and the presentation was also very nice. My salad was also very unique and delicious - a mixture of greens, fruit, and cheese. My husband had grilled scallops and was very pleased also. Our server was helpful and attentive. This place does not look like much from the road but we were really pleasantly surprised."

"Ahi tuna was spectacular. Waiter Jose was as nice as can be and actually recommended the tuna. He had a sense of humor too. Couldn't believe that noise was not a problem because I was with a friend who talks very softly. Loved the 10% discount for cash!"

"My husband and I have been to Heartline twice in the last month, once with a group of 7 and once in a group of 4. During both visits, the food has been great ! I appreciate that you can make reservations.
The restaurant was busy during both visits and the waitstaff worked very hard to make sure we were well taken care of.
There is a nice outside dining area which we were not able to sit in as it was cool both nights, but it would be great to sit there in warmer weather."

"I was happy to find after an absence of a few years that Heartline was as good as ever--maybe even better. The waitstaff was fun and helpful. We were visiting Sedona with a large group of hiking friends. At least twenty followed my advice to try Heartline and everyone has been satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. "We have eaten at the Heartline many times and again it did not disappoint. The cesar salad was the best I have ever eaten, just the right amount of tang and parmesan. The gazpacho had just the right amount of kick and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Our waiter was extraordinary. He knew to pass quickly to my husband when it was time to order because he saw I was still chewing. How perceptive. Love it."

"We were disappointed in the dining room after having seen the pictures online with white tablecloths. . . it looked a little dark for Sunday brunch (purple tablecloths). . . but the waiter was a gem.. . we realized later we might have been better off to sit at the patio with our friends. "The Heartline Cafe is my favourite Sedona restaurant. This was our fourth trip to Sedona, and our fifth dinner with them. The food is fresh and delightful (the sesame tuna is fabulous!), and service attentive and friendly, and the surroundings relaxing and attractive. We ate outside this time, in their pretty courtyard. I highly recommend this restaurant. I only wish I had purchased their recipe book."

"Enjoyed a vacation meal on a night in mid-week. It was an intimate dining experience, with friendly wait stafff and prompt service. Chose the pecan crusted trout which I split w/my spouse. They gave us the choice of a second set-up w/separate salads/veggies or a straight split of the plate. We chose the second set up which only added $6 to the meal cost. Excellent dessert selections, if you still have room after a filling meal."

"The sandwich I ordered was the Italian one and it was fried in butter! I told the waitress that I could not eat it and she gladly offered a different selection. It was a much better choice. When the bill came I was not charged for the first OR second sandwich!! That was remarkable, and not very often done even in high end places!! Naturally the tip was bigger!
We were there for lunch and it did not live up to ANY of the hype about the place. The chef has a cookbook for sale and I hope he had nothing to do with the lunch menu or I would be fearful of the dinner menu and his recipes!! The dinner menu appeared to offer decent selections, but I would be cautious about going back."

"First time visit. I was drawn to Heartline Cafe because it seemed like a classical restaurant (linen service, exceptional service, excellent food) and I was not disappointed. I started with the hot sauté red cabbage and hazelnut salad. It was outstanding and reminded me of a similar classic German serving. The local, farm raised, rainbow trout was moist, plump and full of flavor. When asked to substitute the wild rice accompaniment with polenta, the waiter eagerly complied. The only setback on this visit was the poor (only 1) local wine selection. The overall wine menu was robust and included many tempting offerings (almost exclusively by bottle), but poor representation of the growing Arizona wines. Overall outstanding visit."

"We love this place. One of our favorite. The place is beautifully put together, it's a quiet and relaxing place. The Smoked Potato, Green Chile and Bacon Chowder was delicious and perfect to warm us up on a cold night. One of us appreciated the Gnocchi with Butternut Squash, Wild Mushrooms & Chives. The Crab Crusted Tilapia special on a bed of rice and with tender green beans grab the attention of two of us the moment our server describe it. We weren't disappointed. It was everything we were told and we had imagine. Our server was discrete, respectful and efficient. Like I said we love this place."
