Stella Restaurant Now Open. Stella specialize in fresh grilled fish. We offer many different species of fresh fish daily. Our fresh fish range from 1-2 lbs. In addition to our fresh fish we will also offer fresh Lobster, Scallops, Shrimp, Mussels, Octopus, and Calamari. We will also offer fresh broiled seafood steaks such as Rockfish, Halibut, Grouper and Swordfish. In addition to our seafood line, hand cut steakhouse steaks, Chops and Rack of Lamb, and fresh Organic Chicken. Our culinary team will strive to always give our guests freshness and quality in every food item we produce. We only use the freshest local and seasonal produce. All told, our goal is to offer our guests a culinary experience where we focus on the natural flavors and textures of the finest ingredients available to us.

"We were seated right away however it took our waiter about twenty five min make first contact with us and take our drink order. In his defence he did buy us desertand offered after dinner drinks on him as well. The food was really good and cooked as ordered. other than us waiting for what seemed a long time for our waiter to come to the table everthing else was great."

"We've been there several times, and enjoyed it quite a bit. My girlfriend had the seafood pasta I had fish and chips. We had side vegetables. Cheesecake for dessert. The food tasted very good, and the service was excellent."

"Stella is good if you live in the area and don't want to deal with the bustle of Rockville town center or Bethesda. It's never crowded, and the food is decent. We ordered a fish dish (nice preparation, a little small, more bones than promised), a large steak (tougher than expected), and fish and chips (lord knows why anyone would order that, anywhere, given other choices!). We asked to be seated around the perimeter of the room, yet were seated in the middle of the room. At the bar, there is only one bartender and no wait staff, so you have to stand at the bar until the bartender can help you. After a while the owner asked what I needed: how about hiring another bartender? They did put out free cheese and bread, which was nice."

"While in the DC Area for the Inauguration we stayed in Rockville and made a reservation at Stella for our first night in town. The wine list was not superior but sufficent. The menu had a wide variety, but we stuck with what appear to be the specialty of the house-fish. I had a whole cooked fish and my husband had a stuffed talapia. We cleaned our plates-they did a very good job. The fish dishes were both delicate and flavorful. Two observations; I had difficultly understanding our waiter's accent, I kept making him repeat the specials. We felt rushed- after delivering our bottle of wine, the waiter came back immediately to get our order, I turned him away 2 more times before we actually ordered. Don't behave like a fast food restaurant."
