Afghanistan is a land-locked country, and cooks rely on meats, freshwater fish, vegetables, dried peas, beans, fresh and dried fruits, yogurt, noodles, rice, and a distinctive palette of seasonings. Afghans do not use butter or heavy cream in their cooking. Vegetable oil, corn oil or olive oil are used for cooking.In almost all the recipes in Afghan cooking, a small amount of herbs, spices and seasonings are used to flavor the dish and add a sensational taste, not too overwhelming.

"The service was SLOW but worth the wait. The set menu was was a lil high priced for the amount we were served. Quality was exceptional!! The lamb was amazing. By far the best part of the night was the feernie a milk custard. Out of this world!!!"

"The food was slow comming and cold the cook was new and was very slow I do beleive he will get much better in time It was a shame that there were some new people to the resterant and did not get the full efect of the place"
