"The food here is usually excellent.. This evening my veal limone was not as good.. Not hot and missing potatoes which are usually part of the entree. The service by our waiter was exceptional! It's a favorite for our group."

"Awesome food, awesome service. The waiter, Carlos, was awesome. The manager walked behind several different couples as they left and went out of the restaurant and watched them get into their vehicles before they left and when my daughter and I left he did the same thing. The manager also came by and asked how everything was and our reservation went perfect. As soon as we walked in there was no waiting around. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I took my wife there on our first Valentines date 12 years ago and have been several times prior to that. The place has not changed. Perfect for romantic or special occasions."

"Piccolo Mondo never fails to be an enjoyable evening out for dinner. The menu does not change very much and the specials rotate somewhat slowly where some always are on the board out front, which is a good thing because the list is long and enjoyable. I selected the Cod from the specials board and it was outstanding! A salad started the meal followed by pairing the cod with a Pino Grigio. For dessert... tiramisu and a cappuccino which was perfect! We brought friends with us and they also enjoyed it. It is nice to know that restaurants that already do things well don't try to reinvent themselves to try to be "better" because better when you do what they do isn't really "better". Wonderful food with service to match!"

"Have been coming to this restaurant for 27 years. It is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Some of the waiters have been working there since the beginning. The owner is very nice and caring. He wants everyone to have an enjoyable evening. The piano music is alway wonderfun. The food is so good. I could eat there everyday."

"Everything was perfect except the noise level and the location. This is too good a restaurant to sit in a strip mall next to a UPS store etc. I drove right past it the first time I tried to find it. It really needs to be in it's own building. Other than that, the food was excellent and the service was superior, with very friendly staff. I assume it was the owner who walked around, greeting people and seeing to their needs. One of the best restaurants I've been to in DFW. Better than St. Emilios in Dallas."

"Everything was great expcept for the service. Our waiter was young and seemed inexperienced. He wasn't able to answer questions about the menu adequately, and I had to flag down staff multilple times to ge tea and water refills.

"Our experience here was delightful. The entry is not overly special as it is in a strip mall. But once inside, it's a wonderful retreat to a wonderful dining experience. We ate on a Saturday evening. The bar was full, the live pianist (eventually joined by a saxophone) was creating ambiance and the service was impeccable. This appears to be still be run by a family, not a corporate entity and the personal touch is evident with this. The food was fantastic (if a little slow in arriving, but with the ambiance and specialness the place gives, you don't mind it!). We stuck with two lower priced dishes marked as house specials and the did not disappoint. We enjoyed the lasagna and gnocchi - both prepared uniquely, but tastefully."
