Welcome to Seattle’s only Neighborhood Italian Cafe with a city/water view. Just minutes from downtown Seattle, you'll enjoy classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. Local partners assure you of the freshest ingredients possible. Casual and cozy, you'll love the experience!
"We eat here, on average, about once a month (over a 4 year period). Wonderful neighborhood Italian bistro. When the weather is good, there is outdoor dining. The best inside seats are the two tables at the back windows overlooking the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains (ASK FOR THESE !!!). The food is the best feature of That's Amore, rating 6 stars on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Dawn and Paul go out the way to provide a terrific experience. On May 4, I had a fresh, WILD salmon with a berry sauce and polenta that was terrific. My wife had a pasta dish which T.A. does very well. We shared a spinach salad that was a perfect complement to the main courses. Cost (no alcohol) was about $60 and worth every penny. Go eat there."

"This is a little gem in the Mt. Baker area. The view of the city is great, the atmosphere is funky but comfortable and the food is always good. Prices are moderate and the wine list is quite good. Specials are usually just that-- special. We take guests here and they always enjoy it."

"This is our favorite place for taking out-of-town guests. The view of the Seattle skyline is spectacular. All of the food is good, but the wild boar Ragu is something special."

"Probably the best Italian restaurant I have been to outside of Italy. Great food and service. Cute small restaurant. I will be back after I work off my meal."

"We love Maureen! She knows the menu well, and recommended some great dishes. Love the location. It has a beautiful view (grab a window seat in the back.) They make you feel at home."

"My wife and I discovered That's Amore quite by chance while walking in the Mt. Baker neighborhood several years ago. What we found then and every time we have been back is friendly and knowledgeable staff, exquisite food, and a spectacular view of downtown Seattle that is great for sunsets and city lights. I would not hesitate to bring my judicious Italian father-in-law here, or anyone else, for reasonably priced delicacies and a pleasant dining experience."

"We had to attend something at Mt. Virgin, which is just a few blocks away. What a treat it was to find this place. Parking was easy enough. The people and the food were just right. Perhaps a bit more than we wanted to spend on a Monday night, but when the food is good, it's worth it. There were 4 of us, we each had something different, everyone loved their choice. We'll be back! Can't wait to see the view on a beautiful summer night."

"Although it seemed at first our OpenTable reservations took them by a bit of surprise, they checked the computer at the host station and quickly readied a table near the door for us. They accommodated us and made us feel welcome. Our server, Leslie, was knowledgeable friendly, attentive, and efficient.
I had the risotto with tiger prawns, my wife had the eggplant dish, my daughter, the pizza and my son the fettucini alfredo. I loved the risotto especially with those grilled prawns -- there is no better way to eat prawns!
Phone for tables 6, 7 or 8 if you want a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline. Table 6 seats 2 and the others seat 4."
