The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
The Grill on the Alley was opened in 1984 as a living tribute to the great American grills of yesterday. In time, it has established itself as one of the country's leading restaurants, praised by writers across the country. The menu is classic American grill - prime steaks, fresh seafood, traditional dishes such as chicken pot pie or meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and homemade desserts. Named to The Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News, The Grill is home of the entertainment industry's "power lunch," but is also open for dinner seven days a week.
"The fact soft shell crab season is in and this Beverly Hills in spot serves them Food good but hey Beverly Hills has many good and great eat houses. The service this night was not tip top. The party of four we all felt like OMG how fast do they need the table. Service was so fas t and not pleasant and it felt like three servers were wanting the table.. I guess they needed the tip?? Itwas not enjoyable and we will not go back for awhile. With that said.. Food always excellent and the beautiful people of Beverly Hills are still there , so go and be seen but know fast fast service and not relaxing.."

Review 3 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"Always good "clean" food. Spectacular atmosphere. Great people watching. Good for out of towners. In this case it was for a business dinner. Was perfect. Great staff, from Pamela at the front Desk, to all the wait staff (Enzo rocks). It will always be my "go to" place."

Review 10 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"The Sunday special of prime rib needs to be shares with 4 people. Too big for human consumption. The menu needs to be updated and sides aren't worth it."

Review 11 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"I did not find that the food was as good as it has been in the past, ceasar salad did not have much flavor, liver and onions was not as tasty as previously. My nephew did enjoy the pepper steak, my sister did not think much of the chicken dish she had, cannot remember, either veal or chicken marsala, crab cakes, my niece had were excellent."

Review 12 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"The Grill on the Alley is simply "real" and "classy"! The kitchen is great-- the menu is great and varied-- and the service is professional and friendly. I love going there any time-- I run a European film festival and it's my "go to" place for lunch (or dinner) with visiting filmmakers in town from Europe. It meets a high standard-- and, at the same time, is quintessentially American."

Review 14 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"This place was awesome! I loved the scene, and the food was amazing. I had the John Dory special, and the sauce was perfection with the fish cooked just right.
If I had one complaint it would be that the tables were a bit too close together, but as I live in NYC, this was not a major issue."

Review 15 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"A busy & bustling place, came early and grabbed a few drinks at the bar. Wouldn't call the drinks mixology exactly but very well executed with fine detail. The food we had was mostly seafood. Melt-in-your-mouth oysters and perfectly grilled main lobster tail & a delicious and pretty dessert. The staff was rather busy, service suffered somewhat. Had to flag down my waiter a bit too many times for my taste..."

Review 16 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"Not sure what it was - it was my Birthday the next day and I was excited to go but the server made a sarcastic remark and when I pulled out the Bday coupon the restauarant had sent me - she did not look happy and pointed out it was the dessert or the 15 % off
I just said to my partner - I have not been here in years and will not return"

Review 18 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"Always excellent, dependable and inviting, we enjoy visiting there when we are in Beverly Hills. So many of the new places are quite noisy ~ just a bit too trendy for their own good. They come and they go, but the Grill has been there with a steady crowd of regulars who know good food and service when they see it."

Review 21 for The Grill on the Alley - Beverly Hills
"Wonderful food and served hot. Great veggie dish served as an horsduerve. Service is also good but somewhat of a slow process. Great place to go for a relaxing or romantic meal. Don't be in a rush."
