Daily Grill - Palm Desert
Modeled after the great big city grills of the 30s and 40s, Daily Grill serves traditional American fare. Featuring Genuine Angus Steaks and Chops, Fresh Seafood, Classic Cobb and Caesar Salads, Meat Loaf with Mashed Potatoes, Chicken Pot Pie and not-to-be-missed Desserts, all served in a sophisticated yet casual atmosphere by servers that really care about the guest's experience. We also boast the best Martini and Happy Hour in town. Located in the heart of The Shops on El Paseo, home to some of the Palm Springs area’s most famous shops, Daily Grill is at the corner of El Paseo and Monterey Avenue. From I-10, exit South at Monterey Avenue (Rt. 74) and travel appx. 7 miles to El Paseo. From Monterey, turn east on El Paseo and drive one block. A Private Dining Room seating up to 28 guests is the perfect place for business meetings or family celebrations. Dine-in and Take-out is available.

"we ate at the Daily Grill about 20 years ago. it was great then and it's great now. We ate outside. The menu is fantastic. So many choices that are great. the waitstaff is very accommodating - i wanted a strawberry lemonade with mandarin vodka - NO problem!!
my husband loved his chicken parmegian. I got a brick cooked chicken - crispy and flavorful. For lunches, i always get the strip steak salad with crispy onions. excellent. Also worth a try is the peanut cole slaw - delicious!"

"One of those spots that is on our "must go" every time we are in Palm Desert and it never disappoints. This time we went for brunch which is served only on the weekends. The portions are large so that you can easily split them. The monkey bread served to each person before the entree is served is wonderful. The coffee is wonderful and they have fresh squeezed orange juice on their menu.
Love this place. If I lived in the desert I would go here every week!!"

"LOVED THIS RESTAURANT!!! Was in Palm Springs with a girlfriend for a getaway and we are big time FOODIES- I am one picky picky eater and this place met my HIGH standards - not only was the food fabulous the staff and service excellent! WE had a reservation and were seated withtin 10 minutes (it was HOPPING busy and I was so pleased they honored the reservation time). The waiter so nice and patient - the bread WARM and nice crust and soft in the middle - and food outstanding. My order was a bit off and when I asked to have it done again they did it right away and to perfection -and they did it without any bad attitude and did it immediately bringing it back as I wanted. LOVED IT!!!"

"I love this resturant, the menu has something for everyone, the food is consistently good, they make great bloody marys and I have never been disappointed with my selection. The service is usually very good, wait staff is professional and gets you out quickly if that is your desire, but if you want to stay and chat that works too."

"Have always had lunch here in the past, and prefer the menu and atmosphere for lunch vs. dinner. We were a party of 4 and ordered calamari as a table appetizer - ok, but definitely not great! 3 of us really enjoyed our entrees, tho 2 of the sides were nothing to write home about; 4th person had the Morroccan spiced chicken and it was way, way overdone! Waitress was a bit pushy about us placing our order - we would have preferred a bit more time to enjoy a glass of wine and peruse the menu. Will revert to lunch only here - their salads are excellent and it's a more relaxed environment, even tho there's usually a line waiting to get in."

"The food and service at this Daily Grill was very very good. Where we were seated was another story. We were a group of 6 with a reservation and they stuck us in the middle of a high traffic area for patrons and employees, even being bumped into at one point. Upon sitting down, the table was so off balance that it tipped spilling water all over the place. They quickly cleaned up, but never bothered adjusting the wobbly table. Very unsafe! If they didn't really have room for us at that time, they should never have confirmed the reservation. This Daily Grill was also extremely loud, so not sure "energetic" is a fair description."

"Our server was initially the problem. No greeting, no welcome to Daily Grill, she didn't even look at us when taking the drink order.
Food was not impressive and there was a great deal of general noise, loud bartenders shouting across the room and wait staff shouting back.
We will NOT be going back to the Daily Grill."
