"The food was good, but the service was lacking. We arrived early and decided to have a drink at the bar; we sat for more then 10 minutes and no one asked if we'd like a drink. The bar was full, but not crowded. We said the heck with it and went to our table where we ordered drinks and appetizers after having to wait for a menu because they didn't have enough. Our appetizers arrived but they were not what we ordered so we had to wait again while they corrected their error. I ordered a second drink and after waiting longer then usual for my drink I had to inquire of our waitress as to its whereabouts. "Oh. I'm sorry I'll get it now" and the beat goes on."

"Menu can satisfy any appetite, from burgers to meals. Love the warm Brie appetizer followed by lighter fare. Have been to Pond House on special occasions and on ordinary days. We've always enjoyed it and will be back again.

"The warm brie plate was the perfect start to our meal. We both ordered steak, a NY Strip and a Filet which were cooked perfectly. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. We can't wait to return."

"Our first visit to this restaurant. The food was very good as was the service. The scallops were delicious and the skirt steak was very tender. The atmosphere is very trendy and comfortable. The only negative was the size of the side of green beans that was ordered with the ala carte steak. It was a very small portion and left my husband a bit hungry. Overall everything was very good and we will definitely go back."

"I've eaten brunch and lunch at the Pond House, but hadn't been there for dinner in some time. I enjoy the atmosphere there, and the service has always been great. However, this time my meal fell short of expectations. My friend and I shared small plates and each of us had a salad. The foods that were presented on the brie brie plate looked attractive, but the combination of flavors didn't work. The conch dish was too chewy, and had an unappealing taste.although the johnny cakes were good. The Caesar salad wasn't fresh. I hope this was an off night for the Pond House, as I've recommended it to friends numerous times, and have hoped that it succeeds."

"Had Sunday Brunch and it was delicious and reasonably priced! My kids ordered the chocolate chip pancake and one could have fed the whole family. Our only negative was that food was slow coming out due to a large party in the restaurant, but they brought us appetizers on the house and apologized for the delay (and we didn't even complain.) I would definitely go back and highly recommend it. P.S. My mother in law noted that they have great happy hour specials during the week and she intends to go back for that!"

"Food selection was standard fair nothing special. Meals were not high quality and fairly bland (scallops and steak). Dessert chosen was not available but they had a substitute that tasted stale and was not creative. After desert a citrus cleansing liquid nitrogen plate was presented to create the citrus scent after the meal, this was a cry for creativity that is lacking here."
