"We had the avocado shake and a few things from the happy hour which I believe lasts from 4-7p during the week. We had the pork tacos and platha dipper which were great. The duck lettuce cups were way too spicy. Another good meal although the lettuce cups were spicy and not enjoyable."

"I'm a regular. Love this place, everything about it: food, service, vibe. Even though "energetic," it doesn't bother me -- because I love the people here. Great group! Thanks for being there!"

"It's a good neighborhood spot, and unlike its sister restaurant, it accepts online reservations. The food is great, and we even took the server's recommendations and were happy with them."

"I'm a regular here, so I'm kind of prejudiced. I love it and the management, wait staff, etc. Great place, even if the noise level is "very energetic.""

"I think this is better than their sister restaurant, Burma Superstar. BStar has some of the favorites of Burma, such as Rainbow Salad. But BStar has wider menu selection with a mix of Pan-Asian dishes."

"B Star Bar has always been a pleasure. I ask the waiters for suggestions and my only disappointment has been the dipping bread. I found it not very tasty and kind of gummy. Otherwise, everything I've ever had has been superb."

"We went to their sister restaurant, Burma Superstar, and while that was good, not outstanding, we thought B Star Bar was outstanding. The food at B Star is more Pan Asian Fusion. The duck lettuce cups appetizer was delicious, and would be plenty for an entree. The roasted sea bass over spinach was amazing. The bass was cooked tender, flaky, moist, and had a perfect and flavorful crust. The lamb curry was also very good. The lamb was melt-in-your mouth tender. We will definitely go back at B Star."

"The food here is great! I have eaten here a few times and been so happy each time. The B Sprouts rock my world, and the ribs, duck lettuce cups, and so much more are excellent! I would recommend this to anyone."

"Incredible first time experience. Make reservations and come early. The food is fresh, exciting, healthy and deliciously complex. Lots of choices. We had the tea leaf salad, tacos with ahi tuna, sea bass, fried brussel sprouts, grilled calamari, and dessert. Also, their Vietnamese drip coffee is amazing. A must go!"

"I really liked b Star Bar. It is a great neighborhood Gem and the service is fantastic. My group had the tea leaf salad, the mango Papaya Salad, French fries (they are divine), fish tacos, and curry noodles. Everything was great."

"I had only been to Burma Superstar before, and after eating at B Star, I don't know why I didn't make it here before! The food is just a good, with an incredible mix of flavors and textures, and it has the same fantastic service. We had the tea leaf salad, brussels sprouts (maybe my favorite dish!), bread, pork and pumpkin stew, and the sea bass. Everything was cooked perfectly and was great. I can't say enough good things about this place!"

"Great Service in this visit. We were greated, promptly seated and the server was super attentive to all our needs including recomendations. The food was spectacular as usual. Love the Tea Salad - show at your table included. My favorite the pumpkin pork, although the others loved their dishes as well. Will be back!"

"I enjoy this place. All the servers are very knowledgeable about the food and made accommodations for my friend who is gluten-free.
We loved the tea leaf salad and the brussel sprouts. This is a sister restaurant of Burma Superstar with all their same favorites such as the tea leaf salad, samosa soup and rainbow salad but without the 2-3 hours wait.
I made an early dinner reservation on Friday night for the happy hour and when I arrived, the server told me HH changed that day and it's only Mon-Thurs. Big disappointment there. If you are going to make such a drastic change, please also change it on your website and inform and/or call your guest ahead of time who made reservation specifically during the HH time."
