"This restaurant is always busy...and there's a perfectly good reason for their popularity. Exceptional food paired with exceptional service is always a winning combination. We were most recently there on a rainy Saturday night and even their valet staff is trained to provide a higher level of service. This restaurant deserves every award they have received."

"My wife and I came to this restaurant to meet my long time friend that we had not seen for over 20 years! He knows the owner personally and we had a great evening. The menu has a vast array of authentic Italian selections. We started off with a variety of appetizers (Truffled Rissotto, House salad, and some sort of thinly sliced meat). Afterwards, we ordered our main dishes that included Bison filet mignon, Linguini a la Mare, and Linguini with clams in white wine sauce. The taste was excellent!! The service was right on as we were tended to with every detail. The evening was finished off with some apple crusted pastry covered with ice cream. This restaurant has definitely left a great impression and I would return without hesitation!!"

"The staff is extremely friendly. The chef is willung to alter any dish. I have never had a problem funding a wine from their list. Prices are fair for most bottles. The atmosphere can be romantic especually if yoy sit in the room overlooking the bottles of wine"

"We went back to Casa D' Angelo nearly two years after our first time dining at this restaurant and they never disappoint us! Frederico is a fantastic server, has a great sense of humor and took such great care of us. The food is amazingly good, we had a lobster pasta and bison filet mignon, cooked to perfection. They have a huge wine list for everyone's taste. Everyone in the restaurant is friendly and welcoming. This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant and I will keep coming back very time I am in town!"

"This restaurant is not to be overlooked. It is a true gem in Fort Lauderdale. We went as a party of 7 to celebrate my recent graduation from Medical School. I was told it was the best restaurant in all of South Florida. The restaurant lived up to its name for sure. I had the short rib ragu over gnocchi. It was as if I was eating little pillows of happiness. An absolute must for any foodie."

"Took my mom for her birthday and it was our third visit. The staff is always attentive and the food is consistently delicious. I had the branzino special which is an amazing buttery melt in your mouth white fish. It was served with asparagus and sauteed cherry tomatoes. My mother had the grilled prawns which are so big you need a knife and fork to eat them. I enjoy myself every time I come here but it does tend to get lively (a bit noisy) when it's full."

"Whenever I am in Ft. Lauderdale, always make it a point to go to Casa D' Angelo. The food is amazing, well prepared and always very tasty and unique. The service is outstanding as well, attentive but not too pushy and intrusive. Suggestions on what to get are always spot on and the specials are extensive and always worth getting.

"This is the second time we dined at Casa D'Angelo - we went back because the food is so good. We were not disappointed. Not only do they have an extensive menu, but have many featured items of the day. Definitely recommend this restaurant both for fresh seafood lovers as well as pasta lovers.
Casa is a bit off of the beaten path from the tourist areas in Fort Lauderdale. However, you should really try it - it appeared that most patrons are locals who would know where to find the really excellent food.

"We eat here several times a year. Tonight was a little off. The regular, long-time hostess was elsewhere in the restaurant and they had two younger, less experienced ladies in their 20's upfront and it was not smooth. Literally waited 25 minutes after our reservation to be seated. We then didn't get our appetizers until 40 minutes after we sat down. Food was excellent just slow coming from the kitchen as they were very busy."

"Very disappointed in my overall experience with this restaurant. I heard many great things over the years. I felt the food was under seasoned. The staff was running around like chickens without a head that did not make our dining experience enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend Casa D' Angelo. Sorry. There are too many finer restaurant options out there to have so so food and a staff that is running all over the place. Maybe they need to slow down and smell the coffee."

"Casa D'Angelo is a gem of an Italian restaurant. We arrived and were seated promptly at the time of our reservation (no wait despite it being a very busy Saturday night). We were met by a friendly, professional and charming wait staff. The wine list contained a remarkable selection of Italian wines. The mixed seafood appetizer included tender octopus, shrimp, scallops and calamari with extra virgin olive oil and lemon; the artichoke with prosciutto appetizer was equally delicious. Fresh white salmon served medium rare was delicious while the veal milanese with arugula was as good as I've ever tasted. Ricotta cheesecake, a superlative cheese plate (custom made and not on the menu) and cappucino made for a truly remarkable dinner."

"We genrally love Casa D'Angelo although the seating is way overcrowded. This, however, was not a good experience. Our table seating was fair at best, we were constantly getting bumped but servers. Our waiter definitely LACKED! It took forever to order and things came out excessively slow. One of our entrees came out 15 minutes after the other 4 and our waiter RARELY checked on us. He did not once come to ask how our entrees were and didn't even know about the entree not coming out- after 15min that the others were served. I had to go look to find the entree and that is unacceptable, especially when spending $400 on dinner! We kept having to ask for more sparkling water and our coffees came out AFTER dessert was finished."

"2 out of 3 meals were not good. I had pasta and shrimp barely any shrimp, no taste. My friend had the clams and spagetti, no flavor but burnt garlic. The escarole was also burnt. Poor quality food."

"I dined with my wife for our anniversary on 3/7. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and we were seated after some time. I must say that the ambiance and overall experience was nothing less than extraordinary!! Owner and chef Angelo came over and thanked us for dining and apologized for our brief delay in seating us! He stated he would make it up to us and he did so in a special way! The food was outstanding. My wife I and split two apps, split the veal bolognese, too die for. I had the Brazino and she had the ravs. A special thanks to Angelo, due to my experience with him, I will never return to Ft. Lauderdale without going to his restaurant. His level of professionalism and talent is what is lost in most restaurants today."
