"I have been dining at Amura for quite a few years and used to love it. The service is not as great as it used to be. I am very disappointed in the drinks. I was there ladies night last week and the $2 Martini's tasted as if their was no alcohol in it. I asked the server if they put less in them because its the $2 special. He said yes.... It is what it is. My friends and I finished our meal then walked to one of the neighboring restaurant bars to have a few drinks instead. I dine their on other nights and have always enjoyed a few Martini's. I am very disappointed that they would do this and will rethink dining here in the future."

"Came a little early, spoke with the Manager, who took very good care of us. The server was also good, but busy, that took a little away from the overall evaluation, and there was mis understanding on the bill, but it was resolved. A good overall impression and we will be back."

"Terrific experience taking a group of 11 people for lunch. Even the people that do not like sushi enjoyed their bento boxes! Sushi was fresh, well presented and a great variety of options. I would have liked to have a sushi menu that explained what was in each roll, but the servers knew so it worked out just fine. We will definitely be back!!"

"When I made the reservations I was asked to specify Teppan seating or regular seating. I specified Teppan. Don't bother! They don't look at it and don't care. The hostess could not be less interested in what the reservation requested. Service was horrible. There were 5 of us and each meal ordered came out at a different time. Quality of food was poor, service poor, will not be returning. VERY unsatisfied!!"

"The food was ok. The service was utterly horrible. Drinks always empty. Took over half an hour to get wasabi and ginger and that was after asking another server to get it for us. Had to ask for boats and for plates. Very very frustrating. Will not go back. Sushi menu needs work really dark inside could barely read the fine print on tjis long paper menu. Never seen a manager at all. Nobody stopped by to see if the food was good or if we needed anything. Hostess was notppleasant and had zero personality."

"The atmosphere was good. However, there were a few things that cheapened the experience and made Amura seem overpriced for the quality.
1. We felt rushed the entire time. For example, Edamame came out within 5 minutes of ordering (smallest portion of any restaurant I have been to), and our sushi came out literally 1 minute after.
2. The sushi presentation was sloppy. While the taste was okay, the rolls fell apart once touched.

Overall, Amura is overpriced for the quality of food and service you receive. I would recommend visiting any other sushi place, including the Orlando Amura, that is at the same price point for better quality and service."

"Fabulous food, gracious server but the manager had an arrogant attitude, and acted as if we were an annoyance when we made a special request. The pre-dinner salads took nearly 20 minutes to deliver. We will definitely give it another try, because of the food."

"We always love to eat at Amura's, so that's why we planned a Birthday outing celebration there on Saturday, April 20th.
We had a party of 8, so we made reserverations for 7:30. We completed the form as requested and indicated we wanted the main dining area.
When we got there, the hostess didn't know what section we wanted. She asked several times if we wanted the Hibachi area. Our reservation was for 7:30 and we did not get seated till after 8:45.
We saw another large party of 8 or more get seated before us. We knew someone in the party and they said they didn't even have reservations, but they still got seated before us.
No one apologized for the wait either. We will not make reservations again as it did not improve our w"

"The food was great, but our waiter wasn't very attentive. She only came to our table when she took our order, to deliver the food and to give us our checks. I needed a refill and she was available. Other servers we very busy attending their tables that stopping by ours wasn't an option. Needless to say we missed out on our "Happy Hour" specials because of that. "Since it was Valentine's Day, I called ahead to see if the 1/2 off special was still in effect. I was told by a young lady on the phone that it was indeed still in effect as long as we arrived between 5 and 6:30. Since our reservation was for 5 pm, I was expecting to have no problems. When our bill arrived, it was not calculated at the special rate as I expected. When I spoke with the manager, he promptly brought over a young lady who said that she did not tell anyone that the special was in effect today, because it was Valentine's Day. The manager would not lower my bill, and I paid twice as much as I expected to pay."
