Experience authentic Mexico City Cuisine at Taco Rosa. Our talented executive chef and creative team utilize ingredients, spices and flavors passed on through our ancestral roots ~ our Aztec, Mayan & Spanish heritage. Today these elements are fused with cutting-edge technique and innovation providing the best of 'old world' culture in a unique contemporary experience. Taco Rosa brings to you the best dishes from a variety of regions throughout Mexico, unique award winning culinary creations along with your familiar local favorites.
We use natural grass fed beef for our Rib Eye Carne Asada, Angus outside skirt steak for our fajitas, enchiladas, salads and tostadas. Fresh Wild Sea Bass is featured in our entree 'Zarandeado' and also in our Ceviche. Taco Rosa features a unique 'cantina approach' which begins each morning with the daily hand squeezing of juices. We produce a supreme and unmatched line of fresh fruit margaritas, sangrias, mojitos and martinis.
"This was our second and last time at Taco Rosa. The restaurant has a nice decor and the staff are friendly. That is where the good stops. The food both times was not worth the effort. We tried 3 different types of tacos (all served slightly warm), the chili relleno plate and an enchilada plate. Not one item was worth mention. Not sure how they stay in business!"

"Celebrated our daughters birthday at Taco Rosa. The staff were excellent. The lobster tacos and lobster enchilada were delicious. I was so impressed with the food. Will be going back soon for more."

"We travelled from San Diego to Irvine for a special birthday dinner for 14. We booked our rez through open table and there was no waiting when we arrived. Our Server Samuel and his team were very good. Food was much better than we expected, in fact I would consider this to be upscale mexican food, but reasonably priced. We would say that this is much better food and more reasonably priced than Javiers mexican food. Food was excellent, and the margaritas were terrific. Ambience was great too!. We will be back."

"There is absolutely no reason to go here when Javier's is not too far down the freeway. I thought I would try it since its close to my house. But I was very disappointed. The food was flavorless and just as expensive as Javier's. It was a waste of time and money. If you want great Mexican food just go to Javier's!"

"Service was great, although I think for five adults in one booth makes it a little tight, would have been more comfortable in the back booths where we could spread out a bit."

"Best house margaritas in town. We sat outside to stay away from a very crowded inside. Wait staff was very busy with the inside groups and therefore slow to begin our service. The sofa/booth style seats are comfortable for relaxing but not optimal for eating. The food was excellent."

"Great spot for a business lunch! Centrally located in Orange County to meet and greet people! Very nice menu with traditional and nuevello cuisine! Definitely recommend it!"

"When we arrived the place was busy. We were seated right away, as we had a reservation. Clearly the staff was overwhelmed by the business. Our server was trying to serve us in a hurried manner. We never received any chips or salsa, I had to ask 3 times to get hot sauce or salsa for my entree (once from the mgr, who must have forgotten). The food was under seasoned and not that tasty. The margarita was cloyingly sweet. I have to say this was no different from any standard Mexican restaurant anywhere in S.Cal. Nothing special here. We do not recommend."
