Come take a trip around the world with our contemporary take on some famous classic dishes! We proudly serve new world cuisine with a focus on NC wild caught seafood. Our owner is a former NC State Professor, with roots in Alexandria, Egypt and a flare for fishing! As a commercial fisherman, he has access to some of the Crystals Coast's best catches! Come see our unique atmosphere with local art, live music, and our famous 1870's chandelier, which decorates our dining room.

"Def gonna be a repeat place to go! Got the rib eye and boyfriend got seafood dish.....my steak was huge and VERY flavorful as well as the seafood dish! Melanie, the waitress was more than fantastic! She alone was enough to make this a repeat spot for us!"

"My wife & I arrived at 1030 for brunch. She was greeted by the Owner with a rose and we were seated at a window table. Waitress was very attentive throughout the meal. We ordered omelets to order. Food was very good. Hash browns were not to our taste, but omelets were excellent. We will return for dinner in the future."

"A little hazy in dining room from what seems lacking ventillation but that may have been a recent rain and humidity. Wait staff was engaged and efficient. Food was good, served a little bit cooler than I like. Ambience is a little loud on Saturday evening for dinner it crowded conversation with live music and noise level in room. Nice, good food."

"My fiance and I have been here a couple times. The first was Valentines Day. They were very busy because of the day obviously. I thought the atmosphere was cute. Not good for groups since its so small. We tried it again this week and it was pretty empty. We went in pretty late on a Thurs. Food was pretty good. The server did bring out the wrong dish for my fiance. She was a good story about it and kept what he brought out. For his mistake he did bring us a free glass of wine. Overall I would say this place is good. Worth a visit or two."

"Don't go to this restaurant if you're in a rush. We were there two hours with our food coming out an hour and a half after we got there. The servers kept apologizing and if we had been in a rush we would have been irritated but the outdoor dining was divine. The other two couples that were dining outdoors complained a ton and got their meals for free. The servers were very nice but overwhelmed. The only problem we had (which was corrected) was that we tried to order a bottle of wine (on the website since they did not bring us a wine menu) and we were brought a significantly more expensive bottle. They corrected the price after we requested it though. The food was OUTSTANDING. Enjoy the outdoor seating and food but expect a wait."

"My wife and I have driven by several times, but finally decided to try it out. We went on an evening that was not very busy. The service was excellent as well as the food. We had the salmon and the 'house specialty' Shrimp and risotto. Both dishes were really tasty and large portions. They seem to get more lunch business - but it is a great dinner place."

"Great food even for a limited Valentine's Day menu. The lamb shank was outstanding. The seafood pasta dish was also very good. Salads were very good and were the not basic iceberg dishes that many restaurants serve. Only bad part was the service. Our waiter never asked us about drinks. He also never brought us the complementary strawberries and champagne that was part of the VDay menu. We realized only after we received our bill and the table next to us got their strawberries. Our waiter brought us forks for our creme brule and ice cream, apologizing that they were out of spoons, while the table next to us got spoons less than 5 min later. He rarely checked on us during the meal. Not very personable."

"This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but after the chef and staff changed, it has gone downhill. The food is bland, the atmosphere is dull, overall a very lackluster experience. We won't be returning."

"Second time visit to Bistro 618 and once again the food and service were outstanding. Food was prepared fresh and came to the table hot. Our server made sure we were attended throughout the dinner. Prices were reasonable. Will certainly make another trip there soon."

"My wife and I generally liked this place. It has some interesting artwork and an awesome crystal chandelier which has a fascinating side story (You'll have to go to the restaurant to check it out). It is rather small with an eclectic feel.
We thought the food was very good and seemed to be locally sourced and fresh. We did not try any of the desserts. The wine that my wife had was good and there was a generous pour.
In the end, we were happy that OpenTable pointed us to the hidden gem!"
