Anatolian Kitchen offers traditional Central/Eastern Turkish cuisine. We are family operated. Our menu choices are prepared directly on site, with a particular emphasis on freshness, and producing the many flavors native to the Anatolian region. Come and observe the performance in our open kitchen, as we prepare fresh bread. We are excited to bring our cuisine to Palo Alto. Many of our customers are international, working here, far from their homes, and have expressed their appreciation for the menu that we offer. Come and enjoy.
"I order the Alexander special and the meat was dry and not tender. Anoter person in our party had the Moussaka and said it was delicious. The third person had a kabob and said the meat was dry."

"When I went here I had my dog, so I needed to sit outside, even though it was only 45 degrees. They have a nice set up outside with patio heaters strong enough to keep us toasty, so all was well. The waiters were attentive, even though we were the only customers outside; they didn't ignore our needs. Dinner was very fresh and delicious. We ordered the sea bass which was their evening special. It prepared simply in order to highlight the freshness of the fish. We also ordered chicken skewers, which I had heard were very juicy and tender; they were! We had beet salad, fabulous! And a white kidney bean appetizer that was unique, and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will plan on returning."

"We were nicely greeted from the host to the waitress. They want to please and make you feel welcome. One main dish was over cooked, we were offered something else but we didn't want to wait. A bit later, another dish arrived to replace the over cooked item. It was perfect. Gotta love a place that cares and takes good care of you.
We will be going back soon!"

"We enjoyed our meal, and would definitely return if in the area. The falafel were very good, and the cacik was great. I didn't taste it but my husband ate every bite of his "Iskender Plate" . I had the vegetarian moussaka which was very tasty. The only dish I thought was a miss was the Kunefe (a dessert consisting of shredded FILO dough, filled with goat cheese and baked in syrup). I thought it was a little aoggy and the goat cheese was overwhelmed by the syrup. I consider this place a very solid 3+."
