"We stopped in for a quick brunch on 6/10/13 prior to attending a matinee at the Music Box. We had made a reservation and a table was waiting for us and we were waited on immediately. We both ordered the Strata and it was outstanding."

"What can I say, anything on the menu is good and nothing fails to disappoint except the Chilaquiles. I spent some time studying in Mexico and have been eating it as long as I can remember, so chilaquiles are my thing! In a new take, the chef literally purees them into an almost baby food like substance. It's really not good, but don't let that get you down. Everything else is wonderful."

"Great concept and menu, but Coobah's didn't measure up to my expectations. Menu was very interesting and appealing, but the quality of the food was not great and it was overpriced. Tables were so close together that we opted to sit at one of the high-top tables in the bar area rather than bump elbows with strangers at the next table."

"I LOVE this restaurant, and it's always the first local one I recommend when someone is looking for some great eats in the neighborhood. The entrees are delicious, but my favorite is making a meal sharing the small plates (Try the Jibarito. You won't regret it!). Also, everyone there is really friendly. Highly recommend!"

"I have been wanting to come to Coobah for quite some time and my meal/experience did not disappoint. The food was superb and the waiter was extremely helpful and quite entertaining. Seared scallops, fundido, short ribs all were amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone!"

"What a pleasant surprise. Found this place on OpenTable and based on Yelp reviews decided to try it with 4 friends. Excellent (and large) mojitos. Hanger steak was high quality and cooked exactly right. Laid back but competent staff. Bustling room (it was St. Patty's day weekend). Only gripe? No valet parking."
