"On a Smoky Mt. get-away to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and found Bistro 109 via a Google search. Reviews looked good and it was way cheaper than the private dinner chef we were also considering. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared the following dishes (vegetarian): strawberry-blueberry spinach salad, veggie wrap, and sun-dried pesto (minus the bacon). For dessert, we had a dessert crepe and death by chocolate cake. Everything was nicely presented and the meal was delightful. Thanks to Bistro 109 for helping make our anniversary special!"

"I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! My husband and I went there for their unlimited Sunday brunch to celebrate our anniversary. The brunch is an amazing deal- all you care to eat for just $12. There is a wide variety of options, from savory to sweet, from unique dishes to the more traditional bacon and eggs. Even better, it is all made fresh when you order- you simply select from a list of options, so there is no concern about food that has been sitting out on a buffet table for an hour. You can't make any substitutions or changes, but there are enough options that everyone should be able to find something they like. The food was prepared excellently and the staff was very attentive and amiable. The fruit crepe is to die for!"

"The food and service were reasonable. I would have rated it higher except for the fact that the tableware and glassware were spotted--didn't look clean (maybe a hard water problem) and some of the food was served cold--had to be sent back to the kitchen to be warmed up."

"Mixed food quality on slow evening. Chicken dish was very good; could not fix crabcakes as ran out of key ingredients, so ordered scallops instead. The scallops were overcooked, dry and rubbery, and had absolutely no flavor. The bottle of wine saved the dinner. Would not recommend the seafood dishes based upon the performance (or lack of) during this visit. Stick with the chicken or one of the salads."

"We had a Groupon, and the neighborhood was underwhelming, but once we went inside we were really impressed. We had the fried goat cheese with tomato jam, and we devoured every bite. I ordered the lamb, which was perfectly cooked and served with herbed couscous and a zucchini/squash mix. I normally am not a fan of couscous, but maybe I just haven't ever had it made correctly, because this couscous was light and fluffy. My husband had the tuna, and he said it was the most creatively prepared tuna he'd ever had. It was served on sun-dried tomato chips with guacamole. He said it was decent, if over-salted. We had cheesecake as well, and it was creamy and good, if a little bit too sweet. Both of us were surprised at the quality of the food."

"We just happened to find it as we searched through "Around Me" and "Open Table". Excellent place. Good menu and really nice people. It is only a couple miles from the action but worth it. Best place I ate while in the Smokies."

"We live less than 15 miles from this restaurant and never knew it was there until buying a Groupon for it. SO glad we found it! Would have never known it was there; in downtown Sevierville and from the outside just looks like a hole in the wall. But quite different when you walk in! Service was good, food excellent and nice ambiance. We will definitely go back!"

"We had fried green tomatoes, ham/gruyere panini, and club panini. The fried green tomato salad was wonderful. Sandwiches were pretty good but my cheese wasn't melted. Atmosphere was good. The food was good. The service was near perfect. Overall great experience."

"My husband and I were both pleased with our experience at Bistro 109. There wasn't anything we found to be spectacular, but overall it was a nice quiet dinner. We are intrigued by the brunch and will return for that and I'm planning on an afternoon with the girls for the happy hour. Definitely a good change from all of the chain restaurants in our area."

"The ambiance at Bistro 109 was great and the food was fantastic. My only complaint is that our waiter made a mistake on my order and brought me a full-size portion rather than a small plate as I had ordered. My husband and I both requested a small plate, however, we were unaware that the small plate only came with one side. I asked that the sweet potato fries be substituted with the garlic mashed potatoes and our waiter asked if I wanted grilled vegetables also. Being unaware that the small plate only came with one side, I said yes. When our food came, my plate was larger than my husbands. I said "I ordered the small plate" and our waiter stated, "no, you didn't." My husband heard me specifically ask for the small plate."

"My wife and I love Bistro 109 and dine here as often as possible. The menu has a wide range of tasty and somewhat eclectic items that always pleases. The waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. The fact that this great establishment is in Sevierville and so close to home is wonderful plus. Be sure to treat yourself to Bistro 109 soon and often."

"Was just what we were looking for on Valentines day. Bistro 109 was not "touristy" but a pleasant surprise in Sevierville. The atmosphere was nice with live piano music and lighting that enhanced the experience. The black linen table cloths were a nice touch. We enjoyed an appetizer of fresh fruit and cheese that was very good. Our entrees were also good and portioned appropriately. We will definitely return as well as recommend this to others."

"Nice, quaint restaurant with good food and good service. I thought the overall atmosphere of the place was the biggest bonus. The service was adequate but slow and distracted. The food was good but not something I will remember. The night we were there, they had LIVE music (piano). The musician was cordial, talented and even came and spoke with us for a brief moment. We did enjoy te dinner our time there and would recommend it. We may even revisit sometime."
