We have a full bar, both a smoking and non-smoking patio (with fire pit), as well as a private dining room with fire place. "Our salads, sides and deserts were all impressive, but the main course was lacking a bit. My filet was overcooked and and the salmon was just so-so. Also, when our waiter greeted us, our table was overcome with the unpleasant smell of smoke."

"We were sat right away and had our drink order taken, but we almost left while waiting for the server to come back to take our order. No mention of the specials, did not suggest anything or tell us about desserts after we finished our meal. Service was "ok" by most standards, but I expected more. We loved our food, but not planning a return trip any time soon."

I have never had bad food or service at West.
If going for lunch I recommend the $20 burger or fish & chips, both are outstanding!
If going for dinner I recommend the rissoto, it is amazing.
For dessert my favorite is the blackberry/goat cheese bread pudding, it is epic!
And finally, if going for brunch, I recommend the beef tenderloin & eggs!"

"Typically I order a lot when going to a new restaurant and at this restaurant I'm glad I did. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were all amazing. I got the West Chips, Ahi Tuna (cooked PERFECT), Puree Trio, Risotto with a side of Ratatouille and Banana Cake. Everything was excellent."

"West is a great place for a fun and easy night out on the town. The food was excellent! My wife had the fish and chips (a huge serving) and I had the slightly smaller but delicious pork with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus. The manager made his rounds checking on everyone's food, but there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The wine list seemed a bit pricy so I had a couple of beers. As with almost all restaurants, they did not have a caffeine-free option for my pregnant wife, other than water. Outdoor seating looks great but was not an option on this rainy night."

"We had a wonderful experience at West. Our first visit was for Sunday brunch - not crowded at 2:00 which was nice. The staff was excellent - our server Shannon could not have been nicer - answered all of our questions about the menu with patience and enthusiasm - she was outstanding. The food was amazing - red velvet pancakes were to die for and butternut squash soup was amazing as well. Can't wait to go back for dinner - and definitely brunch. It's our new favorite. The kind staff is much appreciated and makes all the difference."

"I normally try to eat light. That went straight out the window this past Sunday at brunch. I started with the butternut squash soup. I should have stopped there because it was so unbelievably good. But no, I went on the have the West traditional breakfast. The sweet potatoes were perfect. The biscuits and gravy...well, it was a little bit like heaven. So again, I should have stopped but someone else in our group wanted to have the red velvet pancakes as a breakfast dessert. This is when I truly died and without passing GO and collecting $200 I went straight to heaven. The cream cheese topping is decadent enough but go ahead and try it with the syrup. At this point you're so far gone you might as well just give in. Best Brunch Ever!"

"The fair overall rating was only because the hostess evedently has not been trained on the reservation system. Our reservation was cancelled by the restaurant and when I called them about it I was told they would correct it. And nothing happened. Finally emailed Open Table and they had to fix it."

"One of my favorite restaurants! Great service, great cocktails! They have a skinny cocktail list that's amazing. I am a vegetarian, and they have lots of choices I can eat! Menu full of upscale comfort food. Very well done. Back of restaurant can be rented out for large groups. Awesome patio area. Great for a girls night out or a romantic dinner with your spouse. "We tried West as a result of an OpenTable search. Overall it was a good find and a pleasant surprise for an OKC venue. The menu was broad and intriguing in many ways. Since the "claim to fame" menu item was the West filet steak I opted for that. It was good, nicely prepared - but I found my self wishing I tried some of the other more intriguing menu items instead. Dining companions had a couple of the West pasta dishes which were beautifully presented, and the spouse had a very distinctive soup/salad combination. Overall, glad we tried it, and to be fair, we'll give it another shot, since I feel I didn't do the menu justice. As far as service, ask if Athena is serving. She was remarkably attentive, but not obnoxiously so."

Our food was good but friend, who we brought because we had raved about West, said the salmon & bow tie pasta left A LOT to be desired. We will return as we feel this was an off night. But I wouldn't recommend the salmon & bow tie pasta."

"We thought the wine list was limited but ended up ordering cocktails instead since we couldn't get moscata. The bread pudding was AWESOME and a large enough serving that 2 of us ate on it and still had about half to take home! Will definitely want to go back for brunch sometime. The quiet, sophisicated atmosphere was appreciated so conversation could be conducted without shouting."

"Romantic!!! Though I didn't like sitting directly by the door. The food was just ok. I ordered the chicken skewers as an appetizer and it was basically three chicken strips on a plate with little presentation. My date had the meatloaf and wasn't a fan. I had the pork tenderloin. I enjoyed mine except for the whole peppercorns. I'm glad I went and experienced it. The service and wait staff were on top of their game. They were attentive and let us enjoy our meal. I'd give it a B."

"The People make the difference at West. From the owner to the Chef to the servers...great personalities and hospitality abound. The risotto w tenderloin rocks! The ambience is much like a Dallas upscale bistro; wonderful attitude and great experience. We've marked West as our 'go to' place for anything special and especially when we have guests from out of town who tell us "Oklahoma City???" "My husband and I ate here on a date night. We ordered the ahi tuna, fish & chips, and the house side salad. We both agreed that the salads, which were very fresh, green, and served with tasty dressings, were by far the best part of the meal. Our main dish was brought out too early, before we were finished with our salads. Our waiter was very friendly and provided good service. I got tired of listening to the conversations of the twenty-something females who sat near us. You can find much better food elsewhere in okc."

"Second time at West and they did not disappoint. The only thing holding us back from making this a regular of ours is the price tag. It's a little spendy, so we have to save it for special occasions. But when we do, it is definitely worth it! The bread pudding was amazing, the brandy ice was a cool treat with a kick and the entrees were perfect!"
