"We went for prom - a party of 14. Everything went well for such a large group - everyone got their food at relatively the same time except for one from our group. Something happened to delay the meal, they apologized for the delay so it was all good."

"The food was cold and over cooked. We had to ask our server several times just to get water and she completely forgot one of our lids meals. The beer was flat and we had to keep asking the server what they had on tap as they have no list. Then when we tried to pay our bill the computer was down so we had to wait with 4 tired children. I have to say that this was our second time here because the first time was amazing but we will not be returning for a third one."

"Some items in the firt few minutes which were annoying and I felt not good customer service:
** We had to wait until exactly 6:30pm our reservation time to be seated, even though the place was half empty. ** The waiter wanted to take our beverage order as we sat down. ** The sat us next to the stage for an 80 year old birthday party and the kid karoake started at 7:30pm when it was supposed to be 8pm. There was a very large loud kid party of like 20+ kids and parents, it was very loud and chaotic not controlled and fun. ** We attempted to put a couple of bags on the chair on the empty table next to us and were told we could not do that. The tables next to us were not used at all during out time there."

"Service is really good, our server was very attentive and friendly. He filled our drink glasses multiple times without having to ask him. The restaurant is spacious so you don't feel crowded. Kids 12 and under eat free so that's a bonus, and their food is so-so. If you can think of Bar Food and what their menu might be, Varsity Grill's food is this. I ordered the Varsity burger and onion rings, which my onion rings were a bit greasy, but the burger was decent, and their fries are really good. It was easy to find street parking. I will go back again."

"My husband and I came in for dinner on Valentines Day. No specials or anything going on. The food was just okay, the service was okay, and there is no place to park. Disappointing. Probably won't be back."

"The food here is very good pub fare, great for lunch and casual dinners. The wait staff is friendly and very accomodating. I've been there many times with groups of 10 or 12 and separate checks are automatic and no automatic service charge for large groups.
Be aware that the servings are HUGE. At lunch, a friend ordered the super natchos appetizer instead of an entree and barely made a dent in the heaping platterful. Another freind and I split a sandwich and it was more than enough. Half orders are not on the menu but the staff are happy to split them for no extra charge."

"Made a reservation for a large party thru your site and it was not honored. We had to space our party at several different booths. We had to flagdown both waitresses to even get water. Once one of the other large parties that were their prior to us left we asked could we move to all sit together and were told NO. Those tables sat empty for the rest of the night. Also their were several little kids running around it felt more like Chuck E Cheese. Overall horrible experience."
