"I leave in Danville Va, and this is a great place to meet friends from Lexington and Salisbury. We love to meet at the Bistro for lunch, lingering over a bottle of wine. It is especially nice when the weather is nice and we can sit outside or on the lawn. We love the music you have in the summer."

"With a scenie, relaxing atmosphere and excellent, fresh food, this is an quaint lunch spot to wine and dine. Although the menu is sparse, there are excellent choices to suit everyone's taste. The house-made Honey Walnut Chicken Salad served on croissant is outstanding and my husband gobbled up the meatloaf entrée which was paired with mashed potatoes and topped with crunchy fried green beans - a nice touch. Dessert choices were limited and the peach crème brulee and chocolate cake were adequate, but not notable. Since this location is a winery, plenty of diners were taking advantage of the wine specials and wine flights which included three different wines paired with three different courses of a pre-planned menu for one price."

"We visited the Bistro both Saturday and Sunday for Mothers Day. Everything was perfect. A special thank you to the restaurant manager who made sure we were taken care of promptly as well as recognizing our name. Sorry I forgot her name but she is defiantly a customer service manager. We had no problems, she just made sure our day was perfect. I highly recommend this Bistro. The food, service and scenery is excellent."

"Nice atmosphere, delicious food. Found it odd that a winery was "out" of a common wine (Malbec) and our service was slow eventhough it wasn't busy. Our server forgot to put in our appetizer order but did offer to comp it, so that was nice. I would eat here again as the atmosphere and food were very good."

"A lovey spot for lunch. Enjoyed a quiet, delicious lunch at the Bistro before enjoying ourselves at the wine tasting. Our server was new and a bit slow and nervous but she was friendly and polite so that made up for it. Nice selection to choose from for lunch and a beautiful view of the vineyard from almost any vantage point inside. The grounds are lovely and I would recommend trying it at least once if you are in the area or live nearby. There is not much to do or see and it would be more of a relaxing day trip for lunch, a wine tasting (extremely) short tour and a stop in their gift shop. Was not very crowded for a Saturday. We will definitely return."

"This is our favorite lunch restaurant. The chef is well known and exquisitely prepares the food. We celebrated our wedding anniversary. If you make a reservation be sure to let them know if you are celebrating an event. Prices are moderate. A party of four with desert and wine cost about $75. "We were very pleased with the service we received at The Bistro. We got turned around in our directions to the Vineyards, so called to change our reservations. The lady we talked to was very helpful, telling us that if were no more than fifteen minutes late from our reservation we would be seated. She offered help in directions, but our "navigator" found the correct directions at that time. We arrived right a our fifteen minute mark and the hostess seated us right away. We were very pleased with the quality of the foods and the friendliness of the servers.
We would certainly visit again if the opportunity arises.

"Our dining was okay. Our table was not ready when we arrived and there were no people waiting other than ourselves. Not sure why because when we were seated, we counted seven empty tables, three of which would have sat our family. Needless to say we got the worst of the three...our chairs were literally two feet in front of the bar and it was situated to not allow for a view. That in itself was unpleasant.
Aside from the poor table seating the food was good, especially the crab fettucine. The value of the Trifecta was fair. No bread is served with entrees. The wine was very good and nicely priced.
We enjoyed the tour and our tour guide."

"Always fun to come to the Bistro. We live in Burlington and have friends in Concord. This makes a great halfway meeting place. Had my usual, the chicken salad which, as always, was delicious (only wish there was a little more chicken and a bit more fruit). Our server was new (her second day) and excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive."

"We celebrated a birthday at the Bistro in March and had a fabulous luncheon. We all ordered the sausage meatloaf and it was delicious.I rated it a 5 star for everything.
To celebrate another 70th birthday, we went again on 3/26.Since we raved about the sausage meatloaf that we had had there,three of us ordered it. We waited and waited. The waitress appeared and apologized that there was some miscommunication in the kitchen. We waited longer. Finally it came.All three of us just looked at it and laughed!! The meatloaf was the size of a meatball.
Manager apologized-they were trying to "tweak" the portions! Well,they still need some teaking!!! Left 2 hours later-disappointed and hungry. It will be a LONG TIME before we go there again."

"Great restaurant with a great view, the wait staff was knowledgeable and pleasant and the food was well presented. The tasting room was crowded with too few personnel to accommodate the number of people. Because of that, our party felt short changed as to being able to ask more questions and when one of group inquired as the availability of tasting a Malbec that was listed, she was told the Malbec wasn't open. Whatever that meant? Was it unavailable or was she reluctant to open a bottle.
The grounds were immaculate and we wished it was more springlike in order to see the vineyard in bloom. All in all, a very good experience, we woild definitely return."
