"Very personable service, with fine food. Exceptional really...one exception, though, as one in our party said "no peppers" and the meal came out with peppers - no matter - sent back, then arrived with peppers again. A minor ding. Third time's a charm.

"We LOVE Vincenzo's!! The entire staff goes all out to provide a great experience. Our dinners were absolutely scrumptious. Innovative. Delicious. Just perfect! Vincenzo and his brother, Chef Agostino BOTH stopped by our table to chat and to wish us a "Happy Anniversary." When we told Chef that we loved the spinach- and Parmesan-stuffed zucchini so much that hubby was going to try to duplicate it, Chef said to give him a call and he'd explain exactly how to make it. And you must order the Caesar salad. OMG ... made at tableside and absolutely the best anywhere. After dinner, they surprised us with a special dessert -- TWO actually -- a white chocolate mousse and pear cheesecake, with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate in chocolate. ♥"

"Vincenzo's delivered as we celebrated my financee's birthday. Greeted by the owner and a swinging jazz duet, we were seated immediately. Not initially happy with our table (too close to the service entrance), we requested to be moved and the owner himself gave us the best table in the room. Charming waiter, delicious meal, more food than I could eat, and a souffle to die for, all made this a memorable evening and a spot we will certainly frequent."

"Our experience was very strange. The restaurant was very empty. Maybe 3 other tables on a Friday night at 9pm. No cocktail drink menu?? When I ordered a drink, they brought the wrong drink. They re-made my drink and it was still wrong. The waiter was very "strange". That is the only way I can describe him. He offered no suggestions on the menu nor knew anything about the wine menu. I sent my tuna back 2 times as well. It was cold upon my first bite. Tried again but still rare. I ordered it medium rare. On a positive note, the pasta my husband ordered and the desserts were great!"

"We went to Vincenzo's as a belated Valentine Day dinner in April, and it could not have been more romantic! The service was friendly and very prompt, especially given some of the other reviews we had read about the restaurant. The food was wonderful and its presentation could not have been nicer. Although we are not wine drinkers, we noted the extensive wine list that is probably the best in Louisville. The desserts we chose were very yummy and a nice finish to a relaxed enjoyable evening. It was my first time at the restaurant and will likely go again (once we save up the near-mortgage payment cost of the meal-just kidding!)"

"I believe that Vincenzo's is "One of the absolute Best Places to Eat in Louisville, KY"
I base this on the fact that my wife and I eat out about 3 or 4 nights a week regularly when we are in town. We are real "foodies" So we get to try lots of places regularly here in town. Plus traveling all over the country as well as the world on both business and pleasure, we get to try lots of places from hole-in-the-walls, pubs, local spots, all the way up to Michelin 1 and 2 Star restaurants.
This is one of the few places we keep coming back to regularly when "Italian food" is our desire. Not cheap but worth it! Great food and service and Vincenzo is a great host! They deserve at least a Michelin star or two!"

"My husband and I were treated as royalty from Mr. Vincenzo from the moment we arrived. His staff and he were extremely attentive to our desires the entire evening. The service was superb and the food was delicious. I'm so happy that we have the opportunity to dine at Vincenzo's...it's no wonder they've been a success for such a long time!"

"We wanted to take a friend to dinner who was visiting Louisville on business, and picked Vincenzo's (she likes Italian, it was downtown close to her hotel), so our selection was based on convenience. We did not anticipate the elegance of the restaurant, the exceptional service (the Caesar salad was made from scratch at the table, the meat entree kept warm in the skillet table side while the sides were placed on plates), a terrific wine list (my only complaint was no Barolo by the glass), and the food . . . I can only say I had the best veal chop I had ever had in my life! My wife and our friend also enjoyed their veal dishes. Even though the restaurant became quite crowded early in the evening, it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere."

"We frequently eat off the theater menu before Broadway series shows. The selection is limited which makes decisions easier, but there is always a favorite to choose. The food was execellent as always. The service was excellent as well. The only disappointment of the evening was finding the White Chocolate Mousse not available for dessert."

"I'll just start by saying Tuesday night is not a good night to visit Vincenzo's. It was practically dead. My wife and I had a reservation for 7:00p.m. and when we arrived we were half heartedly greeted by practically every employee. A long wait for the waiter and even longer wait to order. The food took so long I almost forgot what I ordered. I will say, in the end, the food was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. Even though the menu was a bit pricey and just no atmosphere whatsoever."

"Very poor service - we advised in our reservation AND upon being seated, that we had theatre tickets at 7:30; however, we were still running to the theatre at 7:25 with our desserts in carry out boxes as they were not served to us in time (one of our party didn't even have dessert to-go as the waiter failed to order the soufflé and then insisted she had not ordered it). That was just the "icing on the cake" - we had to wait much too long for 2nd glass of wine - one glass was never delivered - coffee never made it to the table despite being ordered with dinner. Worst than all of that, no one seemed concerned or apologetic. Food was wonderful but still disappointing experience at what we believe to be one of Louisville's best restaurants"

"I felt like I was treated like a second rate citizen. We had a coupon and it was made pretty clear that we were put into a small unimpressive room away from the finer dining room and our table was right inside the door off of the bar area. The noise from the bar was distracting. Our waiter didn't even bring us bread until after the appetizer and that was only after my husband asked him about it. The coupon we used was given to us by a friend that had to be treated in the hospital and couldn't use it and didn't want it to go to waste. We are very good tippers and I don't appreciate being made to feel that we weren't worth the same effort or treatment because we had one. I would not recommend your restaraunt, it was over priced and snooty."

"I took a friend here for her Birthday and she was blown away. The service was excellent and as a special treat, she received a dessert plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate compliments of the owner.
