"Stopped at One Act before the play Last Fall. Service was attentive and friendly. Fun place to watch the interesting people.
Food was good and served hot. We shared several appetizers all very good. Main dishes including a burger, flank steak sandwich and fish & chips all solid. We would return when in the neighborhood."

"We have been here many times and the food is always good. Nothing fancy but more than pub food with some healthy options. One of the best best in this area, which has limited choices, and near some of the theaters as well as being adjacent to the Mayne Stage. When we come for theater and music in Rogers Park, we come here for good eats."

"Some issues with service. Beer did not arrive until after we got our entree. Brought cup, not bowl of soup, although this was replaced. Waitress was friendly (and apologetic)."

"Ate at Act One before a concert at the Mayne Stage. Food was good, maybe a little better than expected. Got our order wrong but corrected it in a reasonable amount of time. I got the Hangar steak, it was pretty tender and most of all flavorful. I recommend the tater tots with the spicy mayo. Their beer selection is outstanding. It was really nice being able to grab a bite and head into the venue right from the bar."

"The Caesaar salad was nicely chilled and very good. The salmon not so good. The sides were very good. My partner liked her planko chicken very much. It is a great place to be before a Mayne Stage show, love the ambience but need to find what they are best at for food."

"Ideal for times when you are planning to attend a show at Mayne Stage. The food is good and the bar has an excellent selection of craft beer and drinks. The servers will let you know when the doors open and make sure you get there. Live music later, so it is a nice place before and after."

"Everything was great....BUT.. We were a group of 5 and so we all ordered our food and when the food arrived the server had not even put my order in so i had to wait for my food and by the time i got my food everyone in my party was over half done..The bright side the comp $5 off my meal . Better then nothing i guess. With said i would still go back again"
