"I have loved Joe's ever since my boyfriend and I had our first valentine's date there years ago. The reason we made this reservation was to get a chance to say goodbye before it closes down. I will never forget the mashed potatoes and the lamb meatballs at Joe's--and the many special dinners I've had with friends, boyfriend, and family there.
In the sage words of Boyz II Men, "And I'll take with me the memories, to be my sunshine after the rain--it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday."
Cheers, Joe's Garage!! We will miss you!"

"Great food! The service is always pretty poor. It seemed as though they were understaffed, but we had the pleasure of watching our waiter visit the tables around us 3-4 times each while we sat there waiting for a check. It wasn't all bad as we had time to make a face out of leftover vegetables from my dates burger..."

"We went to Joe's for brunch on a snowy/icey/sleety Sunday morning. It was very quiet at 10am. Service was fast and very friendly. Andrew, our server was great to the two kids (10 and 12 yr old) in my group. We were seated in the upper level next to the big windows facing Loring Park so we had a great view while we dined.
Good coffee and delicious food! We'll be back when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the rooftop dining area."

"Joes garage was fine. Portion sizes small for the cost. We had the lamb meatball mashed potato plate and cod mashed potato plate, both of which were ok comfort food- nothing spectacular. While friendly, the service was also nothing to write home about. Ordered a beer which was given to us in a can, when we asked for a glass, we got one straight out of the dishwasher steaming hot."

"Food was just OK. I had the Baja Mashed potatoes and it was not interesting. I'm not sure what the big deal is with the mashed potatoes...they're just mashed potatoes. Nothing special. The garlic green beans were way too garlicky. I couldn't stand to be in the same room with myself after dinner. Kind of a cool vibe and I like the multi level set up of the building. Other food is probably better and the rooftop patio overlooking poring Park is no doubt great in the summer."
