"This was the first time we went there even though we've been in the neighborhood for 12 years. I'm sorry now that we haven't been there before. We were celebrating Mothers day the evening before with our friends and we sat outside because it was beautiful. Service was outstanding from the very moment we showed up. It was very relaxing on the patio. The soup was amazing! I had the chowder and my wife had the lobster bisque. The Crab cakes were also delicious. We had the ahi tuna seared rare and our friends had the salmon. Both were fantastic Our waitress and her helpers were on the ball. Top notch service! We will return.."

"My husband and I went to Fin's for a quiet, romantic dinner. The food was amazing, the service was responsive and fast. I don't normally consider myself a picky eater, but I wanted to change the sides that came with my entree choice. The server assured me it was no problem - and she was right. They were very accommodating and gracious. We'll definitely return!"

"The fish is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. The wine prices are excellent on the night where they have halp price wine. The best place to sit is in the front of the restaurant. It gets noisy in the middle and rear of the room. Also the service tends to be less good at the rear of the room because the wait staff can't see you as easily."

"We had the sea bass and the swordfish. Both were excellent and the portions were very generous. As a starter we had one of the salads and split it. It was more than enough for 2 people. Service was excellent although we felt a little rushed at the end of the meal. This was our first visit to Fins in a number of years and we will definitely be back! Jerry"

"We had reservations and our party of four was promptly seated. The service staff was quick to respond and followed through with special requests. The food was exceptional, freshly prepared and nicely plated. They use to have a seafood platter they prepared for an appetizer but it was no longer on the menu. A little disappointed, we asked if they could prepare it for us anyway. The owner came over and was more then happy to put together a spectacular seafood platter for us all. It included a freshly cooked whole lobster, king crab, giant shrimp, ceviche, ahi tuna, and some of the freshest oysters I have had in a long time. The main courses were equally delicious, two differently prepared swordfish and a fantastic Hawaiian Ono."

"The food was excellent. My cocktail was decidedly unpleasant, (I'm usually a wine drinker and I fell for the frou-frou name) but they cheerfully replaced it with a much nicer one. "The restaurant has adopted well to the economy, with reasonably priced meals and a menu that tries to be imaginable. I don't go often, so maybe a disk jockey is standard, though on a Friday night I would have preferred live music or Muzak (non-musicians operating electronic files should be heard and not seen). I like the place, in that it's different and not pretentions. It was an enjoyable evening, and the server was terrific. The prices truly are reasonable, for both food & drink."
