The Brasserie restaurant has been a culinary fixture in Georgetown for over thirteen years. In the past six years, with the culinary marriage of Chef Dean Max and owners Clarence and Lisa Flowers, the Brasserie has evolved into an even more spectacular jewel of the island.
Through these years of research, training, and planning this evolution, the Brasserie was proud to re-open its doors in the beginning of 2010 with a brand new organic garden, state of the art exhibition kitchen, a walk-in wine room with over 300 selections kept at the perfect temperature and their own fishing boat which ensures they always have fresh catch from the sea.
The Brasserie restaurant is a boutique 65 seat restaurant with bar that warms the soul with its British colonial charm. The restaurant is a hidden gem known by locals for its incredible fresh and interesting modern Caribbean cuisine.
"We had a great experience! Our server was very attentive without being annoying. The food was very fresh and cooked to perfection. While its a very nice and more romantic restaurant, we did have our 7 year old with us and he was welcomed & they even had a kids menu. We come to Grand Cayman every year & this is our new favorite."

"My husband and I went here for his birthday this week and had an absolute fabulous time. We decided to do the Chef's Tasting Menu and were totally shocked by how much fun and how wonderful it was. It's always a bit nerve wracking putting it in someone else's hands but Chef Joe created a wonderful menu for us. We truly had a blast. Not only will we be returning but I think we will do the tasting menu again. In fact we probably will do tasting menus at restaurants that have it available. I would definitely recommend you visiting here and doing the tasting menu, put your adventure cap on."

".....top of the list for any foodie visiting Cayman. Yes, it is indoors, but the mahogany decor reminds you of an island plantation. The real star is the cuisine, all lovingly prepared with mostly coming mostly from the garden right outdoors! Best to walk through the garden before dinner, then savor the ripe tomatoes & hot peppers in the salsa and always-on-the-table house-made hot sauce. Only the freshest fish, vegetables, and fruits comprise the menu. Some may be new to your palate, but go for it! You will never leave the Brasserie disappointed with anything. Hope that they continue to thrive and will be around for a long time. Bravo!"

"This was our second visit to The Brasserie and we certainly will return the next time we visit Cayman. We enjoy doing the chef's tasting and pairing the wines. Always excellent!"

"Food was excellent; on a par with some of the best on the island. The service was also very good. It was a bit noisy due to the bar crowd ( we went there on a Friday, so the happy hour crowd was there). Would recommend it"

"Everything was exceptional. We loved the special touch of the chef's complimentary appetizer. Drinks to dessert, no complaints. A very enjoyable evening ....."

"A seat in the garden brings wonderful atmosphere to accompany the expertly prepared food. The evening of our visit we sampled the "catch of the day" tartare, the lamb and a burger (my husband was quite pleased with this option). The drinks were delicious, and there was a general sense of finesse and sincere passion about the food and service at the Brasserie. Wouldn't hesitate to return again when in GC."

"They raise many of their own vegetables in a garden where you could even sit for your meal. It is obvious they use very fresh ingredients for all their selections. The fresh tomatoes and mozzarella was marvelous. Leave room for dessert."

"My mates and I went here after a day at Georgetown and 7 mile beach. It was a little too quiet for us but the food was outstanding. The smoked Wahoo was truly special. The Grouper and Snapper were quite good. I would recommend it for couples as it is quiet and intimate. Very nice."

"Truly one of the best meals we've had in the Caribbean! Lexi's service was excellent as well. The only down-side is that it is a little way off the beach, but worth the trip. If you are staying somewhere on Seven Mile Beach, this is one restaurant not to miss."

"Had an incredible meal at The Brasserie--by the far the highlight of our trip to Grand Cayman. Produce from their garden, fish caught by the restaurant's own boats that day...doesn't get much fresher than that-- which is pretty rare on an island with a fast food restaurant every 10 feet! The service was outstanding, super cool, incredibly nice bartender made amazing cocktails with again, ridiculously fresh ingredients."
