"The waiter was fake friendly did not give us the same treatment the table next to us received. It was our anniversary and he never asked if it was a special occasion like he did the other table. I ordered lobster $58.00 and it was overdone. How do u overcook a steamed lobster? When the bill came we did not even get a thank u from the waiter he just ran our card and said your copy is the stapled one and walked away. On top of it all he cracked my husband's credit card when he ran it."

"The food, service and decor are fabulous but the specials run out early and there are items on the menu not being offered any longer....noteably the caviar service. One of the few places to get caviar and they stopped serving it. I was there for a 50th birthday dinner and one of the reasons for dining there was for caviar which they do not have despite it being on the menu. Then the alternative was giant stone crab claws but that ran out before the order could be put in....oh well. The food is really delicious as well as service and ambiance...disappointing still...."

"Our party enjoyed a great meal - first the food - from the daily specials including the pecan crusted grouper with scallops and the lobster with crab cakes to the surf and turf - all perfectly cooked and delectable. These were were accompanied as is the A and B tradition with baby vegetables and mashed potatoes. The Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, and lobster bisque were outstanding as well as the bananas foster and key lime pie. Service is impeccable here as well! The al fresco ambiance of this night was special

"Three times to Key West and we finally went to AB Lobster House!
We have always wanted to go, but activities got in the way.
Close to Mallory Square, we went after the show. PS-Make sure you see Jeep and Cleo (Mallory SQ)
AB Is at the Harbor, beautiful view both in the lounge and restaurant.
To die for gourmet Clam Chowder only $7.75 with fresh bread, that alone was worth the trip.
Bria was our server and she was excellent and not hovering.
Romantic Table for 2 outside with a harbor view.

"Make your reservations in advance, and try to get a table on the outside deck. Great views of the water/harbor, especially at sunset! The lobster thermador is excellent! Rich, flavorful and generous. The wine list is quite good and wide ranging. The shrimp cocktail is one of the freshest and tastiest I've ever had and my partner's escargot appetizer was decedent and sized more like a meal. A&B is a must for anyone visiting Key West who has a taste for fresh seafood made well. Prices are a bit more expensive than average, with dinner for 2 including wine, running about $240. But it's well worth spoiling yourself for a romantic evening or special occasion."

I would go back for the amazing food and great view of the Key West Marina, while the overall cost a a meal is expensive, it is worth a visit maybe on some special occasion."

"A&B has it all. Great food, service and location. Enjoy Florida's finest local seafood or a great steak, have a drink and enjoy sitting dockside at Key Wests busiest marina. Located above Olonzo's Oyster Bar (which has a great Happy Hour from 4-6), A&B thus offers it's elevated white tablecloth service from it's elevated second story spot. Wear your best shorts and flip flops and make sure to save room for the award winning banana foster dessert."

"A beautiful restaurant with great service. The items my wife and I ordered were just alright. She had the yellow tail snapper and I had their Lobster Thermidor. The Lobster Thermidor was not what I expected. It was served in a casserole dish not a lobster shell. It had more whole mushrooms (not even sliced) then lobster. The lobster itself was kind of mushy and not the right texture. The creame sause was not classic Thermidor. The snapper was heavilly breaded and just ok. Both dishes came with tasteless vegetabe medly and dry tasteless mashed potatoes.
I should have ordered the special which was Hogfish and looked good. Ended with a decent Creme brulee and coffee. In closing, over priced and just OK."

"Service was knowledgeable and outstanding although non-obtrusive which is a difficult feat to pull off.
Excellent seafood, very fresh - right off the pier! Lovely setting. Downstairs is a regular bar and oyster/raw seafood bar. Wonderful. Upstairs is an elegant setting. We did both.

"Great expectations lead to an even greater disappointment. Service sets the tone for an entire dining experience; our service was poor. When you pay for fine dining, you are paying for stellar service to accompany a delicious meal. Unfortunately, A&B Lobster did not make up for the bad service with great food. Our appetizer, crab stuffed artichoke, was average. In fact, only 1 out of 4 of us actually enjoyed it. Our entrees, shrimp pasta, lobster tail, another pasta, and the grouper, were all just fair. The grouper was overcooked and lukewarm. The lobster was tough and lacked any depth of flavor. All the while, our dinner lacked a wine accompaniment because we never saw our server after he brought our initial drinks. An A&B Lobster letdown"

"For a restaurant that calls itself a Lobster House, the lobster was subpar.....stringy and overcooked. Not exactly the succulent piece of shellfish that we anticipated. The other entree, Red Snapper crusted with Brazil nuts, was good, but certainly not outstanding The best thing on the menu was our appetizer of Tuna Tataki........hard to ruin raw tuna! Lovely surrounding and very good service, but the food was certainly lacking"

"On our recent viist to Key West my wife and I returned to A&B, our hostess tried to seat us by the kitchen, which we were no happy with we asked to move to another table which they gladly accomodated, the food was devine, my wife had the stuffed lobster and I had the filet Mingion, both excellent we will be back!"

"Everything was pretty good except the main course for dinner. We ordered Florida lobster tail and it was overcooked. For a resturant that advertizes itself as a lobter house this is unacceptable. We didn't send it back bcuase they were so busy we though it would be a long wait. The rest of the meal was fine ."

"We were able to dine outside on the porch and with the full moon shining above, it was a lovely setting. A&B sits right among many other restaurants at the A&B marina. I had to try the lobster since it is, after all, a lobster house. I had the special two pound Maine lobster and it was fantastic. The bananas foster for dessert was delicious, but beware it is a huge portion, even for two people. A little pricey, but a great option for dining by the harbor."

"Been coming here for years and always reliable and delicious. Expensive but worth it. Seafood of any kind here is great. Lobster Thermidor , bisque, tuna, scallops... All great. Au gratin potatoes with blue cheese are amazing! Steaks usually great, too, but this time for some reason wasn't quite up to the usual standard.... Still great though and we will come back again and again"
