"I had the pork tenderloin with butternut squash, and it was delicious. My fiance had the rack of lamb and fought with it a little bit breaking it up from the bones.
Our reservation was conveniently made during their 'two for one' special, so we got the Pastry-wrapped Brie and the Calamari -both of those were also delicious. Their two-for-one special applies to their starters, salads, pasta, and dessert. While participating in the special, you have to know they'll add 20% gratuity to your bill without regard to your party size. Our bill for the dinner for two was $100 -two starters(one for free), two entrees, and one glass of wine.
We sat right by the window that looks out across Broughton Street where you can people-watch."
Special Features: notable wine list, romantic, special occasion

"After reading some good reviews on Il Pasticcio decided to book a reservation on New Year's Eve. Decent restaurant but was just fair, too trendy. Italian food is known to be comfort food, not in a black table and black mats, not a single indication that you were eating at an italian place, waitress knew the menu well but made you feel dumb, almost looking down on you. Since I'm Italian and a chef by profession, I had no problems but the rest of the table felt insulted at times by the waitress. Reservations were made based on the menu of their website, to find out that it was changed to compensate for the expected volume that night, I can understand that, but the inability to compensate for fish allergies (my wife) was bad, save you money"
