Shula's 347 Grill - Roanoke
Shula's 347 Grill is named in honor of Hall of Fame Coach, Don Shula; the winningest Coach in NFL history with 347 career victories! Shula's 347 Grill has everything from gourmet salads to fresh specialty fish and exclusively serves Premium Black Angus beef burgers as well as the best beef money can buy, The SHULA CUT. The atmosphere is chic and full of energy and the design features photos which highlight local sports stars and legends as well as the landmarks of the city; combined, they offer a different appeal and destination for the local market. "I ordered my burger medium, but it was very well done. The cole slaw I ordered was room temperature. It took forever to get our bill, and even after my mom gave her debit card to pay for the meal, it took forever to get her card back. It also took a long time for the food to arrive, despite the fact that the place wasn't that busy."

"While the service was friendly and accessible, despite three requests we never got water! It took 45 minutes for us to get our food after ordering. Fortunately, we were in no hurry. Had we somewhere to be at a certain time, it would have been a big problem. The food was very good, the wine list fine, although a favorite wine that is not high demand was unavailable. Another disappointment. This is still a favored place for drinks or dinner with friends, but only when time is not a concern."

"The food is good at this location but the service is fair at best. We have been to this restaurant four times in the past six months and only received good service once during those visits. On more than one occasion our food has been brought to the table either warm or slightly cold. What should be a neighborhood gem is being brought down by poor service. A this time, I cannot recommend Shula's 347 Grill in Roanoke. That being said I would not discourage any one from going either in order for them to form their own opinions."

"This was our first visit and I was a little disappointed after hearing such great things about the restaurant. Service was slow for a Wed night that was not too crowded. We waited 40 minutes for our food and the salad did not come before our meal, but with it. So we did not enjoy the salad. The steak was delicious, but for the price, the service should have been exceptional."

"This marked our fourth trip to Shula's 347 Grill in Roanoke. Due to the Valentine's holiday, they were VERY busy. I have to say that we recieved the same excellent service as in previous less busy times. The wait staff was accomodating and very plesant. The food was out of this world as usual, AND I got a beautiful long stem rose with dinner! It was a memorable evening and we will definitely be back!"

"We had dinner on Valentine's Day. It was a very nice place to dine and the wait staff were very attendive and helped us through the menu since it was our first time dining there. They also suggested the wine and it was a great choice. My husband had the 8 oz petite filet and said it was the best he had ever had EVER. We would definitely go back again although a little pricey it was worth it."
