"The Apex is our first dinner out when we arrive in Park City. We have never been disappointed with the food, drink or service. The only comment I have, and this is true for all the upscale restaurants in Park City and Deer Valley, is that I'd like to see a more varied menu. We visit the area several times a year as we own a second home in Park City. We are very familiar with the menus and it seems there is little "off the menu" choices.
That said, I recommend Apex to anyone. There s not a prettier more elegant place to enjoy a beautiful meal."

"Had breakfast for my birthday, and loved the Apex! Even before arriving to the restaurant host we were greated warmly and had valet parking. Just these little things mean ALOT! The food was good and loved the idea of either a choice from the menu or buffet for breakfast. I, ofcourse, had the Apex Signature Breakfest... Food was good and the hotel service was amazing!! :)
-Restaurant should do something special for birthdays, anniversarys, etc."

"This was our first time visiting this restaurant and both the service and food at APEX were exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and even the busboys and runners checked on us several time to see if we needed anything. A little on the pricey side but for Park City area not out of range and the food was worth it. We will be back again."

"The whole staff - from our waitress to the manager - really went out of their way to make our night special. On top of that, the food was fantastic. A unique, spicy rendition of tuna tartare was an excellent appetizer. For entrees, the Utah trout and the double cut pork chop were both delicious."

"We visited for lunch and were seated by a window in the more casual bar area overlooking the mountain runs. My Cobb salad was the most unusual presentation I have seen, with two large slices of Romaine atop the usual Cobb ingredients. It was delicious. My husband's steak sandwich was delicious. They have an extensive prix fixed buffet lunch that looked outstanding but we weren't interested in eating that much. The service was leisurely but efficient. The wines by the glass were priced quite high. If I visited for dinner I would prefer to sit in the more formal dining area. We enjoyed our lunch here and would visit again."

"Great food and very attentive service. All in all a wonderful experience. Popovers were an amazing treat as bread and steaks and other menu items were delicious. Nice option for mid mountain Deer Valley any time. It was not too crowded as I've experienced before so that was actually nice. It can be so full sometimes."

"At the beginning the service was very slow and inconsistent even though the restaurant was fairly empty . It took 30 minutes before they brought the bread and the wine for the women. Once a comment was made about the service, the service improved dramatically.

"Four of us (two couples on ski vacation) had a wonderful dinner at Apex. The entire property is gorgeous with beautiful decor, amazing views, great service, elegant touches - everything you would expect from a 5 star in Park City - and Apex is all of the above as well. Of special note is the sommelier - she's fantastic. Very friendly, knowledgeable, funny and attentive. The oenophiles in the group liked her just as much as the wine newbies. And her recommendations were spot on. The food was expertly prepared and presented and delish! The portions weren't huge (which I prefer) but some people might feel cheated - especially given the prices. All in all Apex gave us a great dining experience and one we will repeat if we are in Park City again"

"We had a really nice dinner at Apex. The wine list is incredible and the staff was happy to help with suggestions. The chef sent out a nice intention to begin with, salami with a great mustard and house made pickle, yum. Highlights were the foie gras and the salmon, we added truffle to it and it was amazing. I also loved the Oregon sparkling I ordered. The price point is comparable to fine/casual dining and other montage locations, pricey but you get what you pay for. The location is pretty, kind of an upscale lodge, the crowd is older, we are in our 30's and everyone had us beat by 30 years. Overall, if you are looking for something higher in quality than resort ski food, this is a great pick."

"I hosted a group of 6 last Wednesday night. Overall the food was quite good - from fish to steak - we sampled pretty broadly from the menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was a bit odd. Our waitress offered us drinks and when I asked for the wine list, took off, dropped it off and left. We flagged her down and my wife ordered a drink and off the waitress was again. It took three tries to get her to go around the table and take drink orders. She was quite pleasant but putting in a drink order at the beginning of the meal is not usually such a production. Once the food starting coming out, things went more smoothly."
