"Our table was ready for us upon arrival and the staff was very friendly. The three course offerings were wonderful and very affordable. The lobster and steak dinner was excellent as well. I love the booths in this restaurant as they give a little more privacy and they are generous in size so you can easily fit 4 people without feeling crowded. Out total experience would be a 5 out of 5."

"Wasn't my choice, but it was the only place that we could get reservations for Mother's Day. Sorry, but the food isn't good, and neither is the service. This was our second visit there within the last few months. The food was overcooked...again. For what they offer, the prices are ridiculous, and they made a mistake, TWICE, on the meal for someone that was with us. We'll never go back there unless we're forced."

"This was my fourth visit within the past year, so I am becoming something of a regular. It's no wonder with a restaurant as outstanding as this. The service is exceptional and the food is always the best. I have never had even an average meal here. It is my favorite place for fine-dining in Columbus. Highly recommended!"

"Love the gumbo soup. Not like any other gumbo but lots of seafood in it and a hearty broth. Excellent every time. The fish meal was also fresh and good -- I like the tuna and it was cooked perfectly. I'd give up the carrots as a vegetable though. I had a great lunch."

"We lived in Columbus but moved to Texas one year ago. When living in Columbus, we ate at Columbus Fish Market frequently. We came back from Texas this past weekend to visit friends. We took them out to eat and our first choice for a restaurant was of course our favorite in Columbus, the Columbus Fish Market. As always, great seafood, excellent service.
This fall we will be coming back for an OSU football game. Guess where we will go for dinner?? you are right, Columbus Fish Market!!!!"

"We had an excellent Good Friday at the Fish market. We have gone to the restaurant on Good Friday for years. Our server, Sarah, was excellent and even let me know that the Gumbo had meat in it, if I was observing Lent, which I was.
We had a medical emergency at the end of dinner and the restaurant employees, including the manager, were excellent. They even reduced our bill due to the emergency, which was above and beyond.
It is nice to know that SERVICE is still a valued commodity."

"Worst service I have had in a long time. I go out to to eat dinner at least 4 days a week. This was the worst service I have had in sometime. The server never asked me if I would like more drinks as I was drinking Two Hearted Ale and had to ask her for another one. One of my companions ordered a drink and the wrong one was sent to the table. I ordered the Filet Oscar style with crab meat and my steak did not come Oscar style and I did not even receive the crab meat with the entree."

"A great place for a family Easter dinner! My Mom was in a wheelchair and access and dining were easy for her, which was very important. The special Easter dinner was delicious, with plentiful ham and all the trimmings, and the ice cream pie was fabulous! It was our first time at that location, and we will come back again. Loved it!"

"This visit to the Market was very good, we arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and were seated right away. The server seemed a bit harried as it appeared she was double sat, us being a party of two and also a party of three, seniors. The other people needed explanations on the menu, but we go there often enough we know the menu setup and read it very easily. The food was timed out fine, with enough time between the app. and the main course. The appetizer I ordered was the shrimp cocktail, it was good and would be rated higher but for some reason the ends of the shrimp stuck into the ice were soggy and not very firm. The main courses were excellent, and deserts a dissapointment. My key lime pie so tart I didn't finish it."

"I've always liked CFM, but hadn't been to this location before. Same excellent food, but I like the atmosphere here even better. I think it's less noisy, and certainly on the Sunday afternoon we were there, there was no crowd at all, which is nice sometimes. Great food all around, starting with the lobster bisque. Hubby got grilled salmon, which was terrific. Highly recommended!"

We booked the reservation through Open Table and in the "special requests" box we put that it was our daughter's birthday. They had specially printed menus for us with "Happy Birthday *****" with her name on it. Blew her away and really impressed us.

"We went Columbus Fish Market to celebrate a birthday. My friend not only received a red rose but a free dessert which large piece of chocolate cake. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and the seafood was fresh and prepared well. My husband had the chilen sea bass and I had the broiled scallops. Both were served with redskin mashed potatoes (which were delicous) and steamed vegatables. Would definitely go back again."

"we drove from zanesville mind you, looking for something different from our usual Red Lobster. we made a reservation for 7, and were still waiting in the lobby at 7:35 - which peaves me because a reservation is a reservation or what is the point? we specifically requested a booth and got a table that wasnt balanced, and rocked back and forth. we had people hustling all around us all night 360 degrees around the table. It was cold. The food was good, the service was slow, and we didn't leave there until 9:15. Based on this experience I don't think we'll be making the trip again."
