"This was the fourth or fifth time I was at Little Anthony's (LA's) - so I was expecting outstanding food, a lovely ambience and excellent service, and LA's delivered on every count. The service was excellent without being intrusive and the food and drinks were uniformly excellent - no one left anything on their plate! The ambience was also lovely, except my party did not care for the music."

"Came here with 3 others for a friend's birthday. The server was very friendly and able to answer questions. The food was delicious. Two of us had a pasta with duck confit and mushrooms but when we thought there wasn't any duck in it the server was quick to take it back and prepare us a new dish which came out with lots of duck...delicious! Tiramisu wasn't heavy and perfect for dessert.

"Overall the food was good and there was one great little surprise - the bacon wrapped dates/cheese dish, however the presentation was terrible. Even though the overall experience was "good", with so many great restaurants downtown Toronto "good" no longer makes the cut. (It’s not cheap either) I just don't see a reason I would go back, nothing was really note worthy."

"Disappointing..have been here before when food was thoughtful and tasty. What happened?? The green salad was a sad, limp, dressing-drenched specimen that needed to be sent back. Hospital salads have been better! The "side" of rapini was 4 skinny stalks with a afterthought of chili/garlic. Pasta was at least representative of the namesake. Although service was reasonable, it is about the food. This evening could not be saved by kind words and service."

"Enjoyed good quality pasta and seafood. Others in my party raved about the quality of their flat iron steak arranged nicely with fresh cut vegetables and a unique parsnip(?) mash. Nice wine list and excellent mixed drinks rounded out the experience."

"I went with two girlfriends for dinner on a snowy Friday night at 6:15 pm. There were only a few other people in the restaurant when we arrived, but it filled up during dinner and got a bit noisier, but very manageable. The food was excellent quality, but the portions were quite small (which was ok by me). I had the turkey meatballs which were fantastic and a tomato boconcini salad - also very good. All in all it was a good experience, nice ambiance (great little bar area if you are just going for a drink or a first date)."

"I had a business lunch there this week.
I ordered the Caesar salad and the pan fried salmon - two staples for any lunch menu.
Almost every leaf in the salad was coated in cheese. As a result, the lettuce seemed soggy and wet.
The salmon was fairly small (ok for lunch size) but there was little or anything else with it. A small portion of sauce and an even smaller portion of some root veggies that were in microscopic pieces. If it was $15 vs $23 then I could see it.
My companion had a huge bowl of pasta and even felt guilty when he saw what I was presented with. He had so much, he even took some home.
So, nice location but my order was not as expected. They used to do better."
