Our signature steaks are a cut above in every way and you will taste why from the very first bite. We pay a lot of attention to our steaks long before they get to your table.
First, we select only the finest shells available directly from the market docks in the heart of New York City’s famed meat packing district. With weeks of careful attention, in our specially constructed aging rooms under special lights and circulating fans to produce tasty, tender cuts of prime beef that rival even the legendary old steak houses of New York City.
For those who prefer it, our Marinated Steaks are bathed in a carefully prepared for three full days, until the unique flavor of our secret family recipe permeates every succulent bite.
"First off, we were seated on a makeshift table in the waiting area, not in the restaurant itself. We were packed in like sardines. Wait staff, and/or patrons were constantly slamming into the back of my chair. Very annoying. Service was slow, and not very attentive. I had to ask for bread, drink refills, I even had to ask for steak knives. The salads we were served were excellent, The baked clams too. The steaks were good, but not up to the level of a premier steak house like Ruth's Chris, Gallaghers, or Peter Lugers. My Fillet Mignon was actually a little tough. I liked the fact that we were able to choose from the complete menu, rather than a restricted holiday one."

"I used to love paces, but have been there 2 times in the last year and their food seems to have changed a lot, perhaps they have changed cooks or the chef? I eat MR steak but my fiance eats WD, his steak always comes out almost same temperature as mine which causes him not to eat because of the bloody scene.
I have to say though, I ate the filet and Gorgonzola "spring rolls" and it was delicious!"

"It had been a while since we had been to Pace's, so we decided to go there on a Saturday night. Evan with a later reservation time of 8 o'clock, we still had to wait 45 minutes for our table, which was rather disappointing. The service throughout the meal was very attentive. The meal itself was delcious and the steaks were prepared/cooked as we had ordered."

"We were told we hade to sit in the lounge meanwhile we had a reservation. It was very loud and the service was horrible. I had butter spilt on me and didn't get my wine until dinner."

"It was Valentine's weekend and packed- Pace's is a mainstay steakhouse- I am sure that on a less busy day, service and ambiance is better, noise level is less. My wife and I will definately be back- rate it up there with the best steakhouses in the tri-state area for quality and taste -"

"During my visit at Pace Steakhouse, my wife experience a level of service that was unexpected. It took over one hour to receive our entree, they brought the wrong salads out and they brought the appetizer and saladinytes before our main course resulting in an overflow of plates in outer small table. Waiter kept putting plate after plate without removing anything and expecting us to fix table around; all while we were still trying to finish our salads. While I thought the food was fantastic, this will be the first and last time at Pace Steakhouse!"

"My wife and I haven't been out for dinner in while and usually go to Paces...This time was a nightmare. First, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get a menu while other couples coming in after us got their orders in and got their appetizers...My wife's menu was all stained...Then we couldn't find our waiter to make our order so someone else had to come over and take it...My wife got the Chilean Sea Bass special, which my wife said was like chewing rubber...Then when we got the check, there was an item on there that we didn't order and couldn't find our waiter once again or a manager to get it taken off for like 15 minutes...We spoke with the 2 managers when leaving and seemed unfazed with our comments..Very dissappointing this time"

"Steak was outstanding. Service was excellent. The only issue was that the restaurant did not have our OpenTable reservation when we arrived. We had received the confirmation Email and a phone call from the restaurant the day of the reservation, yet, they could not find us. They made up for it by seating us at one of the best tables in the restaurant."
